I have been a real estate investor for many years and never in the history of my investing have a met a developer with such a lack of integrity and ethics. I will NEVER buy a Wanson development again and I will make sure to sing that from the roof tops. In a time where Wanson has the ability to be kind and compassionate they definitely did not pursue that avenue.

My son recently bought a unit at Brooklynn which is one of Wanson new projects in North Vancouver. My husband and I are real estate investors. Over thirty years of buying and selling residential and commercial properties we have not seen such a poor quality building. The brand new building walls are cracking. The building started to shift already. Drywalls and paint are such a poor quality. DO NOT BUY ANY PROJECT BY THIS DEVELOPER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Though I can understand the perspective of those who have been impacted my the delays, myself included, let's remind ourselves that the pandemic has undoubtedly disrupted all local businesses, with construction being no exception. Further, as a professional in the development-construction industry myself, I acknowledge how delays with architects and project contractors are beyond the control of the developers, despite their best intentions. Some things are just beyond one's control, and the hard work of this company unfortunately got lost in these unprecedented circumstances. I am happy to say that Brooklyn's completion is near, and that Wanson Development has continued to update myself and my family throughout this process. I appreciate their responsive customer service, as well as their deep commitment to providing high-quality and equitable homes for families.

Wanson's earlier project, Eight West, is the first home I've ever purchased and it has undoubtedly been one of the greatest investments I've made. To this day, the project is in excellent condition and the designs continue to be relevant to this day. I appreciate how this is an honest, locally-based company versus a large-corporate, out-of-country developer that does not understand the communities they develop projects on. Wanson has demonstrated sensitive designs that foster safe and comfortable urban environments.

Great experience dealing with Wanson on a number of their projects. Their developments turned out very well and their staff/team are really good and prompt to deal with. Will definitely look at their future developments.

Wanson has no business developing Multi family residences. They have no idea what they are doing, completely disorganized. They clearly have zero expertise and worse have no staff to deal with the disaster of a building they didn't supervise the construction of. We are 3/4 of a year after moving into their newest building and the building is not even complete. The quality of the work from the trades is the worst I've ever seen. The lobby was clearly intented to have a floor other than the cement slab which is uneven, patches with different color and looks like a jobsite. There has been water ingress issues, doors installed backwards locks not installed, lighting is no longer working. Started to cut a hole in the siding then realized it's the wrong spot? No worries just cut where it was intented and leave the error cut. Painting is terrible. Units have uneven floors, chips, drywall cut not level ceilings visible not level. Worse is the complete lack of response from Wanson about any plan of what will be fixed as deficiencies and what is just poor work to be left. I would absolutely never do business with these crooks again, they have no business being in business. Edit, we are now over a year living in our unit with literally only the paint deficiencies resolved. Neither the deficiency list we were asked to create nor the final walk through document which has all deficiencies agreed and signed off between us and Wanson have been addressed. Continued complete lack of communication what the plan is to do repairs, if there even is a plan... Clearly not or it could just be communicated. We have been very patient, but this building the units and common property were never ready for move in and still are not.

Our family purchased an investment condo at the Brooklynn. We love the design and our tenant raves about the interior courtyard. The location has really transformed since we purchased our presale in 2017. We love that there is a community centre opening right beside the building and new retail businesses opening up downstairs.

We purchased in Wanson’s Burnaby Cadence in project. The location has been great for our family, close to transit but in a quiet neighbourhood. It has been a great home and investment for our family.
