★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been taking adult voice classes for almost a year, and I have had a phenomenal experience at Wandering Minstrel. I had never taken singing lessons before and was really nervous, but the teachers and staff at Wandering Minstrel were welcoming and knowledgeable, and made me feel very comfortable stepping out of my comfort zone. I would highly recommend Wandering Minstrel to anyone of any age and/or level who is interested in expanding their musical knowledge - it has definitely been worth it for me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've seen my fair share of music schools in my 10 years as a music student but have to say Wandering Minstrel definitely comes out on top! I had my first voice lesson with Maciej yesterday and absolutely loved it! He made me feel incredibly comfortable, was encouraging and was very receptive to my music preferences. The director of the school, Judy, responded to my inquiry very promptly and is a gem of a person! The number one thing that drew me to this school was the fact that Judy and all the other great teachers at Wandering Minstrel are clearly living and breathing their passion for music and their number one priority is to share this passion and see their students flourish. Thank you Wandering Minstrel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just had my first lesson on Tuesday and I am blown away. I have worked with several vocal coaches and I never felt like my genres (rnb, funk, soul) were ever a focus in my lessons, but this instructor is different. Mwansa is very personable and makes me feel confident that with her lessons I will be able to fine-tune my voice in order to reach my goals as a successful performer. I recommend this studio to anyone who is serious about improving their craft.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the beginning of 2020, I made a resolution to improve my singing. I enrolled at the music school and started taking voice lessons with Maciej, shortly before we went into lock down due to the pandemic. Taking up music lessons has been the most enjoyable and rewarding experience for me over the past 12 months. It's provided me with daily/weekly goals to work towards and a creative outlet where I can express myself and connect with people, even if it had to be virtual for the time being. I'm so grateful for the amazing experiences I've had through the music school and with Maciej and I would encourage anyone thinking about music lessons to sign up!

I take violin lessons with Sharif, and honestly the patience that man has for my screeching is astounding! ?
Absolutely love this place, would totally recommend for adult beginners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Wandering Minstrel Music School is a great place to begin learning an instrument! I had violin lessons a few years ago with Alla for 3-4 years and I did electric guitar lessons for a couple months with Santiago. All the teachers are very passionate about what they teach. I was always very impressed with the summer concerts performances every year.
If you’re willing to practice violin daily, you have to get Alla! She will break down the basics for you. She’s a very professional and wants you to be the BEST and nothing less.
Santiago is a really cool guy! he really knows his guitars and genuinely wants you to understand and enjoy what he is teaching.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the past year and I bit I have been taking Zoom voice lessons with the Wandering Minstrel. It has been a fantastic and rewarding experience, greatly increasing my vocal range, not to mention my singing skills. Laura Riggs is a phenomenal instructor, knowledgeable, patient and open to letting her students explore her own genres of music. Check her out online on her various platforms. Judy was very supportive in facilitating the lessons, even though we couldn’t meet in person. I would highly recommend Wandering Minstrel for anyone wanting to hone their musical skills. Young or old, you will be treated with kindness and respect.
