Walter is a friendly man unfortunately reluctant to work on machines that are more than 20 (corrected at owners request) years old. He did a decent job on my unit rebuilt the carburator and tuned to the best of his ability to running decent not great. Cost me 160 bucks mostly labour so he's not the cheapest game in town and explained that $100.00 an hour labour was in his opinion reasonable with me dropping off and picking up my own equipment. Has odd irregular hours afternoon to early evening. Factually honest review

My snowblower had always been hard to start since new. I ended up burning out the electric starter and broke the pull cord on it. Since it is an older machine (8-10 yrs?) Walt was able to find a used starter motor, he repaired the pull cord, and he serviced the carburetor. When he brought it back to me he gave a quick tutorial on how to care for it and how to store it for off season. It now runs better than it ever has and it is so easy to start using just the pull cord that I don't even use the electric start anymore. I am very pleased with the service he provided and for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend Walt. Thanks Walt. Anyone need an electric starter?

Had an issue with my lawn mower with the problem already diagnosed. All of the bigger lawn mower dealers in Markham said 'leave it with us could take one... to four weeks to repair.' Called Walt, dropped it off at 3 pm on a Friday afternoon and it was ready next morning at 11 am. Works like a Swiss watch . That is customer service, will never go to a large dealer ever again.

So I called Walt the other day as I had a couple of sheared shear pins stuck in my 12-year old Troy Bilt snowblower that I just couldn't remove (after multiple aggravating attempts). While he could have removed / replaced them (or if not taken it to someone to drill out the pins), Walt recommended I NOT take it to him, as it would cost the same as regular "service", and likely I would need "service" again in a year or two given the age of my snowblower. Instead Walt gave me advice for things to try, like try removing the pin from the other side, which ended up being the EXACT strategy that worked on the one pin, and gave me confidence that I would eventually be successful on the other pin (which after applying some WD40 I was). So that was about the best service I (n)ever got!!! And definitely when my snowblower does eventually break down, I now know exactly who to call.

Walt is very knowledgeable with small engines. He takes the time to explain how these engines work and what the problem most likely is. He provides a tutorial on how to maintain your engine so it doesn’t break down again. I went there around mid May and dropped off my 12 years old Cub Cadet self propel lawnmower. It hadn’t run in about two years. He got it working like new! I didn’t cut the grass in about a month after the mower was fixed so it was very long. I couldn’t believe how well it cut. It just kept on running. I waited another month and just cut the grass recently. There were knee high weeds and grass. Again, it started right up and kept going! I don’t like to wait that long to cut but had to for personal reasons. I highly recommend Walt! Fred

Called in 5mins before closing because my snowblower wasn’t starting after the monster storm on Jan 17….surprise surprise! A fine gent by the name of Walter answered the phone and walked me though some possible reasons as to why it wasn’t working. Standard check, spark plug, oil and clean fresh gas which was all good. Then he guides me to the fuel system carb and fuel hoses. It turns out my fuel hose from the primer had snapped off at the carb, so I cut it back and plugged it back in. Started on the first try! Thanks again Walter for taking the time to walk me though this and to get me going! True customer service! Lee from Scarborough

Walt fixed my snowthrower last year and today, Jan17/22 it performed as it should. Easy start, no stalling and able to handle deep snow and get it out of the way fast. Walt told me it needed carb adjustment and cleaning, timing adjustment, new spark plug and oil change. It now runs like new. Glad I spent the money.

I just made a phone call to ask when I can bring my lawnmower in for repair. I was asked basic questions about the lawnmower and he advised me on what to do, to see if the lawnmower will work before I brought it in. I did exactly as he told me and I was shocked when my lawnmower started working again. He is an honest and knowledgeable person. I recommend him 100%.
