We had a great time going out for lunch. The server was awesome even though she was super short staffed. They took my allergies seriously.

If you’re looking for the most perfect rice, super fresh fish and amazing flavour, look no further because you’ve arrived at the best sushi restaurant! Here’s a photo of Wabora’s Titan and Tuna Tataki rolls (minus 1 piece each because hubby and I couldn’t resist). These have the perfect combination of texture and flavour. Wabora never disappoints! Absolutely incredible food! Looking forward to our next visit β™₯️

We order here often, it is always delicious and we have never had a bad experience. Today we ordered and the portions were incredibly small, especially for the popcorn chicken! We paid $10 for 10 peices... we usually get a lot more! When I called to ask, the lady was really rude and basically hung up on me. Very disappointed!

We had lunch the other day at WABORA. The covid protocol was top notch. Made us feel safe. Our server was really nice, fast service and the maki rolls / sashimi and bulgogi was all delicious. We will be back. Thank You - JayT

Quality doesn’t match the price. The same quality sushi as any other Japanese restaurant but double the price. Must be a premium for being in Bracebridge. The attached photo was $50.

UPDATE MAY 3, 2022: Wow LOL Laughing as I type this. The establishment replied to this review and told me rather snidely to "continue eating my frozen sushi elsewhere". I should have screenshotted and posted it here as it appears they realized how unprofessional and immature it made them look and removed it. I've provided multiple honest reviews on sushi restaurants across cities in Ontario based on my personal experiences but never had anyone reply to constructive criticism like that. I've heard horror stories from the staff about how they're treated as well as the overpriced food but thought I'd try it out and see for myself. Based on my experience there and the way they replied, I can assume that there's truth to what I have heard as they got so angry and defensive lmao Don't worry, you don't need to tell me to stay away. I won't be back as I can't support a business knowing how unethically the employees are treated. And even if I were to overlook that, "frozen sushi" would be a tastier and cost effective option than what they had served. Like relax, you're not even an upscale place and the quality is definitely not up to par considering the prices. ? Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa has better quality AYCE buffets than this place, which is sad because its a la carte. ............................................ 4/10. Sushi was okay at best; had the miso soup, tigers eye and the firecracker rolls. Miso soup was okay but wasn't a fan of the hard tofu the used instead of silken tofu. Tigers Eye roll was probably the best thing I ordered from the whole meal; it was basic but good. A classic dynamite roll with BBQ eel and avocado on top. The Firecracker was just plain gross. I'm a spicy food lover and while this wasn't really spicy, the issue was the flavor itself. All I got from the fish was a bit of heat and this wierd bitter flavor. I couldn't finish it and asked if I could swap it for something else. They said no and charged me full price (pictured). The server was sweet but couldn't do much about it as she stated the owners would dock it from her pay if she didn't charge us and that they don't allow swapping options once ordered. TL;DR overall, food was mediocre at best considering its an a la carte place. I'll be honest... I've had better sushi at cheaper all you can eat buffets. ?
