★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing time here, with Julie at our service. She took us through their selection of wines, pointed out to us some Specialties for their Winery, and took into account our tastes and guided us in the right direction. She truly made our experience phenomenal. The views from the winery are spectacular, there is an outdoor seated area for the bistro that many people enjoy. Overall great vibes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent and elegant Winery hosting a variety of wines to tantalize the taste buds. A shop containing not only all the accessories you could ever imagine for both drinking carrying giving and cooking with wine but also some delectable wines for your palate. A great local Winery with ample parking. Also a very elegant Deck restaurant with a great view Over The Vineyards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ *Update* Lisa did my wine tasting and she was AMAZING. So helpful and informative. It was a great experience. I love that they do little food pairings with the wine too, it totally changes the experience. Highly recommend. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Also, the wine is fantastic. Make this a stop on your wine tour!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in around 5:15 PM for a wine tasting, they stopped taking people around 5:30. The host was great. We got to try 5 wines that were all local to NZ. We really enjoyed the wine and ended up buying 2 bottles to take home with us. The atmosphere and scenery were great and you got great views of the city at night. There aren’t many wineries on the north island, so if you enjoy wine, I would def recommend coming here.
HINT: Try and go when the sun is setting, you get city views of the day time and night.
Tasting around $40 USD for 2 people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group spent almost $600 on wine and still had to pay $15 each for the tastings. As a wine collector and connoisseur I have never paid for a wine tasting. Just shocked with the new changes for a wine tasting ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tastings are $15! They say it’s paired with food (roughly two crackers, a tiny chocolate, and a spicy cashew). It doesn’t get waived with a bottle, and we had a girl who was on her first day. She told us our tasting was comp’ed, but her boss was there and she charged us anyway? It was a very awkward experience. We had purchased a bottle of wine when she told us about our tasting was free, so we now wished we hadn’t. Very strange and awkward experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happened upon this winery and so happy that we decided to go in. We were greeted by Lindsay who was warm, inviting and informative. This winery had a wide variety of wines which were both innovative and delicious. We will be going back, maybe even to become members.
