T	Tiffany James on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here on our way through town, driving from Calgary to Vancouver Island for vacation. We take our two dogs everywhere. Both are very calm and we've put a lot of time, energy and effort into training them. These are not aggressive dogs. The moment we got there, some crazy 50-something blonde lady charged us, yelling across the parking lot that we MUST read the sign bolted to the fence before we are allowed to come in. She then blocked the gate and continued yelling at us as we ignored her and walked through the entrance gates. Perhaps she thought it was our first time in a dog park. She then went on to yell at us that we needed to "control our animals and keep them on leashes" (despite it being an off-leash park) because HER dog, not on a leash, was aggressive. Welp, dogs are a direct reflection of their owner so that made sense to me right away. Get rid of the psychopath, and I'll give this place 5 stars for a quick stop when you're on the way through Merritt! Well maintained, but the locals are a little territorial. Thanks for the warm welcome, Merritt!
K	Kristeen Coyle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean washrooms and nice field for sports. The track around the field is also really nice. My only complaint is all the dog poop that surrounds the park grass near the streets.
M	MattE on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meh. No playground .guess if ur a runner and waNt to run in circles there a running track. kinda looks maintained but great walking trail that connects it to claybankz popular in the summer
M	Mordichai Music on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great big field next to the Coldwater River and across the street from the Merritt Dog Park. No shade, but great for family baseball or soccer type events. Sometimes the dog show is held here.
