โ โ โ โ โ In 2009 we spent thousands for 15 windows - all of which carry Vinyl Window Designs' Lifetime Warranty. Well over a year ago two of them started losing their UV protection. I have been waiting for this company to honour their warranty and replace the glass. Multiple emails, phone calls, and constantly being ignored. It usually takes 5 or 6 emails before I get any response at all. Now, today, over a year later, one piece of glass has finally been sent to a place in Manitoba for me to arrange pick up. Why they completely ignored the need to send two, why they ignored my regularly asking where the two pieces of glass were.....I am shocked this company is still in business. If I could give it negative stars, I would.

โ โ โ โ โ I had a very good experience with the service manager, i believe her name was Suzie. I had contacted the company for the job and had some questions about the warranty and life of the windows. She addressed all my concerns and was very thorough and helpful. I have recommended this company to others specifically because of her. Customer service is of great priority.

โ โ โ โ โ Had some bedroom windows installed awhile back but 2 years ago noticed some streaking on the inside. Contacted the installer in March but heard nothing for 3 months. They then cc'd me adding someone from Vinyl Windows but, again, I heard nothing back. Suddenly, late last year I had a phone call saying someone would be by to take a look. This week, I had another call saying someone was there to look at the windows but, of course, there was no-one in. Pretty poor after sales service and going by other revues, this seems to be a common occurrence. You pay your money and you take your chances!!!

โ โ โ โ โ Earlier today a young woman in customer service really helped me out. I am repairing a screen for a friend, and have found it impossible to source appropriate vinyl corners to fit the rails for this screen. In this day and age, with 'right to repair' becoming an increasingly hot topic, I am very happy to be dealing with a company that supports its own products. Thank you VWD.

โ โ โ โ โ After replacing all our home's windows manufactured by VWD Ltd., most recently, the seal in 2 panes of different windows became defective Aug/2020. Long story short, as of this issue, the warranty after service has been TERRIBLE. After long delays, multiple emails/calls, we've had incorrect grilles in the replacement panes 5X; not even bringing the pane for one of them most recently today. There is NO excuse for such utter incompetence and delay!

โ โ โ โ โ Nice crew. My windows were installed in Feb. 2020. By spring of 2020 all the argon gas had leaked out and of course lots of moisture between the panes. After months of conversations and of course Covid so I was patient concerning this matter. Nov. they show up and I baked them goodies because I am nice like that. The panes were ALL replaced. I was pleased with the service and workmanship. Christmas Day my daughter looks at the window pane. She see's a crack about 8 inches long going across the entire window it's the outside pane and of course argon gas leaked out as well. That happened quickly because it wasn't there Christmas Eve. It almost looks like the pane was installed to tightly and now allowing expansion for cold and heat. I contacted the company that monday morning and left multiple messages all polite I don't seen the need to be rude. Still to this day. Nothing. Someone has to be retrieving messages. So far no response. I feel that I have been extremely patient and if I don't hear from them this coming week. I will take that next step, I won't be recommending this company to anyone. A crew can be great but it's the workmanship you pay for not personality. So far I am so displeased at that very thing. I have two very good friends who are contractors and I will be letting them know about this situation. I can tolerate one mistake but two? Not so much.

โ โ โ โ โ Purchased this house 12 years ago and was told windows were about 3 years old at the time. Most of the rubber weather stripping are falling off. Reached out to the company asking about their warranty or how to repair. No response. Wouldn't recommend their product or service

โ โ โ โ โ The windows look good at first.. however they do not last,glass failure every two years,mold in between window panes..I did not purchase Double Glazed 4mm Solar Shield Argon new windows to have the glass fail every two years.
Also had leaking issues for years on some windows,Mark finally resolved the problem. Not sure if he is still service manager.
Too bad window quality of the glass is so poor.
