I've enjoyed my time in the beginning, because I love the location and the styles of the different condos. It's a truly marvellous experience, that I have to admit. But, the lady in charge of the place, Thérèse, became mean and impatient really quickly; visiting the condos everyday and menacing to kick us out many, many times. She called my boss to tell him thigs like "you should not trust him," "you should be careful, he's a liar," etc, jeopardizing my employment and reputation with lies. She got angry at me for parking on spots where no signs where posted prohibiting any parking, she got angry at the smokers in my group for smoking pot on the patio, where it was authorized to do so; nowhere was it written that it was prohibited to smoke pot. This woman had obviously something going on in her life and she was taking that out on her clients, because of her previous bad experiences with other groups of lifeguards. She was always on the edge with us. Being at the condos, right now, is a very stressful experience to have to put up with, because I have to, and I highly discourage people from staying with Village des soleils. Thérèse herself came to our condos to take the towels from us, she always makes last minute changes, knowing very well that we all have a employment we have to attend to for a big part of our day and much more. Here's an example of things they do: they buy cheap pans from Canadian Tire &, if they have traces on them, when you leave, they will charge you on your security deposit to buy another set of cheap pans. Be careful with that. Read the contracts carefully, should you sign on & know your rights as a client because there are many broken appliances in the condos: the hair dryers, leaking A/C, even the toilets and it's been two weeks now & nobody came to repair. If you see cigarets on the ground, in front of the place you stay, take pictures, or they'll blame you. I've had owners there stare at me heinously, I've had some pick up cigarets on the ground, hang them on our door with an insulting message saying we need to learn how to live like people, when these cigarets weren't even ours. I've had Therese tell me some owners told her they almost "got into a fight" with me because of "the way I looked at them," I've had Therese make me pick up a dirty towel on the grass, that wasn't even ours, because she was "certain" it was ours. I've had Therese blame my team of pushing garbage bins to the ground, because she was convinced they were trying to get payback after a huge stressful experience she made me and my team go through
