★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed the sweet chicken and basmati rice. It was really crispy and had a good flavor. The beef Muskalo and chapati was also good, but a bit "tendony". Watch out for the spicy green sauce! Not sure what it is, but it is hotter than wasabi, chili, sriracha, and anything else I've had before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was recommended to try out Village by a friend. Was a little hesitant going in since there was nobody dining in when we arrived, and restaurant was very dimly lit. The the location is also not the greatest, but the food made it all worth it!!
We ordered the sweet chicken, beef muskalo and beef steak with rice. It all came out in one large dish, with complementary mango and lemon drinks. Rice was very fragrant, meat was tender and juicy. Would absolutely recommend foe anyone looking to try African food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is fantastic— great prices, big portions, tasty food. We ordered the goat combo and beef muskalo. We got starter soups, bananas, and complimentary mango juice. Would definitely return when in Edmonton!
