I have found my new favorite Pho joint on East Hastings! Delicious broth with huge amounts of exciting flavors. The Avocado roll was tasty, but I wish the satay was slightly more peanut-tasting although still really good. The tofu used is tofu puffs, it would be awesome to have an option of crispy tofu also if possible. Generous portion sizes, yummy grub and free hot green tea on tap makes it a great place to eat after a day snowboarding on the slopes! A very quaint and humble dine-in experience which gives me great nostalgia of backpacking round Asia and grubbing at local eateries. Staff are awesome and super friendly! Support local!

Outstanding. Must tries: 1. pandan bubble tea. If you haven't tried pandan desserts, VTH's bubble tea is a great introduction/gateway drug. They make it with fresh pandan leaves! Their other bubbles teas use fresh fruit also. 2. Garlic butter chicken wings, served with lemon pepper. Make sure to pour the leftover butter and lemon pepper from the wings over one of your other dishes. Or pour it over a bowl of plain rice. Or a paper towel - it will be the most delicious paper towel you'll ever eat. If you love Phnom Penh's garlic butter wings, you're going to want more than one order of these. 3. Green papaya salad with beef jerky. An ideal summer salad. Their bun and bahn mi are also good. The chicken wasn't great, but that's also personal preference - I seldom consider the meat a highlight of bun.

My colleague and I usually order food delivery for lunch twice per week. We saw this restaurant having a high rate at 9.7 skip score on SkipTheDishes so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, food was not good as our expectations. We ordered the Pork skewer & spring rolls on vermicelli and 2 pieces of shrimp salad rolls. The food portion was small. There was just a few pieces of pork meats and not much vermicelli. The shrimp salad rolls were small and thin and the sauce was not tasty. In general, the food presentation, quality and quantity was bad.

Soooooo..... reviewing from the lense of a chinese guy. This place is a hidden gem! A light soup based Pho was a big surprise. It means the whole experience will be scaled toward the sweet side. The balance of the greens ie. scallions, onions, basil, bean sprout, red chilli pepper become the main characters, while the meat is the supporting cast. Its a much lighter experience than the full body, meat heavy Vietnam places. All the ingredients are fresh and just the right amount to achive that aroma. While you get to control the heavier hitters such as the basil, bean sprout and red chilli pepper. On the meat side, rare and cooked meat gives the proper texture and yes, the soup is plenty hot enough to cook the raw slices. The tendons holds its shape yet soft. The spring rolls are crispy, and heavier on the veggie side, sweeter side. The Vietnamese ice coffee is perfectly measured to ensure there's no excess coffee or ice or condense milk, so that you get what was intented by the chef in one cup. Masters at work here and thanks for the experience.

I’ve only ordered this spring roll (#7) but I like theirs a lot. Portion is large and the staff there is so kind and friendly! The lettuce is fresh and it’s clean :)

Super friendly owner. Prices are decent. No MSG. Fresh ingredients. A gem in the Hastings neighbourhood. Beef pho and chicken wings are good. Also liked their pandan milk tea. The owner said she made it from the pandan plant she has in her restaurant!

After reading many super positive reviews here my family and I stopped in for a dinner! Boy was that ever a Good idea! All our dishes and drinks were so flavourful and delicious! My girls loved their Slushes! The Garlic Butter Wings were divine! And the Green Papaya salad with Beef Jerky was fresh and delightful! We had the best meal and got a chance to meet Melissa the owner….she is so sweet! This is a total Ma & Pa shop with great tasting food and very decent prices! Go and support them…you will be glad you did!

The Best!! I came to try this place because the people were nice to my daughter and I when we passed during Halloween. So I ordered take out as this is covid times. This place is the best pho we have ever tasted. The soup, the tender tasty brisket and the tender rare steak!! They are really to die for. As I was eating, I was already thinking of my next visit. I highly recommend and I will be a regular customer now. Stay safe!
