S	Sebastian Kluth on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Swartz Bay Terminal connects Vancouver Island to the rest of the province. It takes the ferry about ninety minutes from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen. Some ferries also go to the numerous small islands in between. Even though the ferry crosses American waters, no passport is needed when traveling from one place to another in Canada. Swartz Bay Terminal has a few small stores where one can purchase souvenirs as well as something to drink and to eat. All facilities are clean, staff is helpful and there are also shops and restaurants on the modern ferries.

J	Joel Diao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have scheduled ferry at 10pm Sep 7. But they cancelled while we were waiting for it. It makes me have to stay in the island and it cost me $150. I also heard that the hotel manager can see the camera of the ferry terminal. I wonder if they canceled the 10pm ferry on purpose or not. And later Sep 8 morning I arrived early to catch up the 7am ferry just to get back to work on time. But still they let too many reservations go and only few of normal bookings to leave and I have to go for the 8am one which will make me late for the work. I wonder if they can hold on to the schedule as they described from official site and make more ferries. I don’t feel very good about it. Garbage

J	Julien Corr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing wrong about the ferry terminal. It would be helpful to tourists if bus tickets were sold here or if there was a machine to exchange bills for change. Luckily we had just enough change on hand. Make sure you have change if planning to take the bus to Victoria.
K	Kandoo Ooo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great way to see the islands. Take a ferry and go on a peasant Cruise from the comforts of your vehicle. Prices are fairly reasonable. There's usually a cafe on board on the bigger ships. Always nice to be able to grab a coffee and a scone. Some ships have work stations so you can get stuff done on the water. Bathrooms are typical clean and more spacious that a airliner washroom. There's a nice dog area at the Swartz terminal to walk your pooch while you wait for the boat.
