I moved in to the apartment August 2020. Love the building, its clean and orderly. I have some issues in my suite with cupboard doors. They measured them up to replace but have heard nothing since. The staff are friendly and prompt. So far a good experience . I am terrified of the bug issue, No bugs thanks for that. As I have never lived in an apartment before. Thank you for all you do.

I've been here since 2016. Overall, a very positive experience. The staff has generally been excellent (there was a brief period where the superintendents were incompetent; however, their replacements are amazing). The apartment building is clean, well maintained, they are very responsive to any issues and do their best to keep the building secure. Highly recommend!

We have lived here very happily for two years. The apartment is large and modern and there is a healthy mix of tenants from students to seniors. The resident managers and assistant managers are very hard working, caring and friendly and helpful. There is a full time cleaner to keep the building spotless. The seasonal pool is monitored carefully. The recently remodelled social room is very popular for Realstar-sponsored events, and is free for booking by residents who need a large space for hosting private events. In our experience, Realstar has been attentive. Victoria Place can reasonably and realistically claim to have the best location in Saskatoon. On the riverbank, it is within walking distance to the popular Broadway district and is just a bridge away from Saskatoon’s River Landing and downtown. We are very happy to be residents here.

The entrance creates an impression of a clean, loved and well cared for building. My apartment is well laid out and any problems are fixed in a timely manner. It is in a convenient location with its easy access to Broadway and down town. The staff are helpful, always pleasant and when there is no Covid in the picture, organize some great social events. In other words all those stars are well-deserved!

A great building, a great location, and great staff who actually live on-site so that they have a real stake in making this a good place to live. I've been living here since 2006, and although the quality of the building management team has gone up and down over that time (as noted by some other reviewers), the current crew are the best that we've ever had. They're friendly and capable, and any concerns about maintenance (or anything else) are addressed quickly and competently. Because there are a lot of long-term tenants here, the atmosphere at Victoria Place is different from any other apartment situation that I've ever lived in. There's an actual community here, and I know many of my fellow tenants by sight and name. Socializing has been limited for the past while due to the COVID pandemic, but I expect that will change as things slowly return to normal over the coming months. If you're seeking rental accommodation in Saskatoon, I would strongly recommend that you give Victoria Place a serious look.

I lived at Victoria Place between August 2018 and December 2020, and will miss the building immensely. During my time here the management teams were efficient, friendly, and hardworking. The common areas were always well kept and clean, and the staff would go out of their way to help residents - when my roommate's car died, the staff brought out a portable booster kit and helped us get it going again. Before the pandemic made it unsafe to do so, regular gatherings of residents for potlucks, caroling, and special dinners were always highlights. Victoria Place is lovely, quiet, excellently maintained, and conveniently located. I'm really grateful for my time there.

I've lived in Victoria Place for 23 years. It's a very diverse community of friendly neighbours. The current management team is kind and competent. I hope they are well compensated so they will remain with Victoria Place for many years. They have created a welcoming environment for seniors, students, singles and young families. The well maintained building is very organized and clean. Management has been responsible during the Covid-19 pandemic, giving residents updated information and communicating public health guidelines and restrictions. I'm happy to recommend Victoria Place to renters.

My mom lives here and it's my home-base for my nomadic lifestyle. I don't think the rent is worth what we're getting, and the 2-star rating is scaled accordingly. It's a much nicer place than many apartments I've seen, but those were half the price. For what this place costs and being Saskatoon not Vancouver or Toronto, I would expect better quality. Pros: Management is very kind and friendly, and take care of emergencies promptly. They've been very helpful in terms of paperwork. They have regular social events which are fun. Cons: My keys and ID (with address) were stolen and when I reported this to management, requesting they change the locks on the suite, they said no. We were even willing to pay the locksmith fee, but they flat-out refused. I pressed the matter and they eventually agreed to swap our lock with a vacant suite, however that never actually happened and I just dropped it, documenting the repeated requests in case we do get broken into and need to include that in the police & insurance reports. Walls are thin and sound travels easily between them. I get noise complaints for listening to quiet meditation music with the volume so low I can barely hear it right beside my head. I can hear the neighbour rolling up her blinds. When the management passes on the noise complaints and I say the volume is so low I can barely even hear it, she tells me the walls are insulated with air...? Aluminum windows are leaky. I can see light coming in the corner of the frame, and feel freezing draft when I sit near the window in winter. Rent is really high for the age and style of apartment, especially old kitchen cabinets that are falling apart (drawer slide is broken and never fits back into place, blocking the drawer beside it from opening unless it's jiggled back into position). We asked them to fix the broken drawer and they said they can't get parts for it, and that was the end of that. Seem to be original 70's cupboards, with fixed shelves that aren't tall enough for a bottle of ketchup. Again, if I were the primary tenant, I would press for repair or take it to the branch, but my mom doesn't want to cause a fuss because she's afraid to get kicked out. Cold water is impossible to get in the summer unless I run it for 3-5 minutes, wasting gallons of water just to get something that isn't grossly warm to drink. Rusty water comes out of the tub faucet every morning. Air conditioning unit sounds like a jet engine, and even at full strength just barely keeps it tolerable when on 24/7. If we turn it off for some sound peace, we start cooking in under an hour. I was roasting in early summer because they wouldn't turn the a/c system on until head office in Toronto ok'd it, and my mom was freezing in early fall when they wouldn't turn the heaters on. Balcony railings are solid concrete, so the beautiful river view we're paying extra for is obscured unless you're standing at the window.
