I had treatment with fraxel and CO2 (CO2 is a more in-depth lazer treatment) at Dr. Charbonneau's clinic a year ago. The CO2 treatment, a delicate procedure performed by Dr. Charbonneau himself, was completely missed! This treatment, which was supposed to reduce the wrinkles above the lips and the nasolabial fold (which was not very pronounced before), left bumps at the site of this fold, which look like bags and give the impression that I have two big folds around my mouth and make me look 8-10 years older than before the treatment! Added to this are the particularly unpleasant post-treatment effects of the CO2 that I suffered (burnt and infected skin for almost three weeks). Did Dr. Charbonneau follow the indications for this type of treatment? Wasn't the intensity of the lazer, for example, too high? On his clinic's website, however, it is mentioned: “Not all skin types react the same way to various cosmetic dermatology treatments, and ONLY A QUALIFIED DERMATOLOGIST CAN DETERMINE WHICH INTERVENTION IS BEST FOR YOU. After a year, it is clear that the damage to my skin is here to stay. Avoiding the mirror is the only solution I have found so as not to be completely depressed! It cost me $ 2,500 for the fraxel and CO2 treatment (including taxes and remedial creams bought at his store). If I had known!

He doesn't take the time needed with you! He took my money lots of it. Never followed up. He does none of the work it's all his little workers who don't explain things much more. He damaged my skin for life because he didn't pay attention the proper care ans treatment needed. He's very unprofessional

Honestly felt like the doctor only wanted only money; he had a cold and non-caring attitude towards me. Staff are nice tho. I wouldn't recommend anyone to him, at the price you're paying, you should be getting much better service. I was told several procedures would be done for my treatment; however, some of them were never delivered. This guy charged me 90 bucks for an after-treatment check up; which I was told was free. The receptionist told me it was up to the doctor to charge the 90 bucks. So the check-up was never really free then. Umm

Very difficult to get through to make an appointment. Waited 15 minutes on hold, then was told I needed an initial "consultation" even though I am already a regular client. In the course of that call, the line went dead. The person I had been speaking with never called me back despite having my name and dob (and presumably my file and phone number). This clinic does not seem to need or want business, so it is difficult to recommend it.

Really bad service. I booked a consultation for laser hair therapy, and was called 3 times and received 2 emails by 2 different staff to maybe or not change the time with confusing information. I attend the appointment during the Covid-19 pandemic with a mask, they only took my fever, and do not do ANY other types of screening. This is a medical office at the end of the day. I could have had symptoms, but they never asked. I would attend at your own risk. I have seen grocery stores with better risk management. No one cleaned my chair, or my pen while filling forms, no one asked me to clean my hands, etc. I attend the appointment. I get a consultation by the esthetician. She didn't have the prices on hand, because she had the pricing chart "from a few years back"? She wouldn't answer any of my questions regarding prices. She didn't look at my skin in question and hair status on my different parts of my body I was interested in. I was asking questions, and she was already up from her chair and near the door. She told me "I'll email you tomorrow, I'll email you tomorrow". The next following day, no email. I email both receptionist, no answer for a few days. I called them finally after a few days, the receptionist sounded unsure. She told me that she would ask her manager and get back to me. I finally received prices by email, but that took me a few days. I told her the prices are more expensive than my friend who started her treatments a there few days ago. I was shutdown saying this is the assessment the staff did. I was told that I didn't received a thorough assessment of my pilosity, so how can they tell me I can't receive the same price as her? The receptionist didn't answer. I have done my research and I will give my few thousands dollars to another place with better service.

I have only had great service since the start of my treatments even before Dr. Charbonneau retired. It's the same now with Medi Spa, great staff, friendly and great service. During Covid I've been numerous times and I have never had problems with the screening process, they take your temperature, and ask all questions like any other health clinic does.
