Little security. We had a yacht next to us with loud music and complained but nothing was done. Bathrooms and showers are far away. Nice view of the empress and parliament building and close to a lot of stores and restaurants

For a yacht visiting Victoria for one or two nights, this is the place to be. We have stayed here for single-night visits to Victoria the last two summers. We've enjoyed watching the street performers, horse-drawn carriages, and pedestrians stream by from the back of our boat. Last year we were serenaded by a marching band. The spot is right between Parliament and the Empress Hotel. Note the showers are a distance away, so for longer stays you might pick another marina. Also, try the breakfast at Parliament - it's a short walk to low-cost fine dining.

The location is awesome but there is a lot of light at night and noise on the weekends... it's right downtown. The upside is that you can see where you're going but it's pretty bright if you want to sleep on your boat of you don't have curtains or like to sleep with the windows open. There is a secured door, garbage disposal and recycling. However no parking and the washrooms are 5-6 minute away.

Great little marina. We have had the pleasure of spending the past few months on this dock, which is located right in the heart of the "perfect view". Surrounded by the famous Empress hotel and the Parliament Building, is quite a sight, particularly at night. The marina is well maintained by an exceptional staff, who are attentive to the care and presentation of the area, along side the well being of the boats. I have personally seen many of the staff members pay close attention to boats and go out of their way to retie lines, especially during recent wind storms. The surrounding area is filled with historic views, beautiful walk ways and well grooms trees, shrubs and plants. Staff do an exceptional job of keeping the area clean, I rarely have seen any form of garbage left about. The marina also offers access to laundry (3 dollars for wash, 3 dollars for drying) and washrooms with pay for showers ($1 for 3 minutes). The shower rooms are ALWAYS, so clean and tidy, and well stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. The marina staff are also very engaged in community events, we were given several boxes of Christmas lights to partake in the marina lightup for a Christmas event the public was invited to. It was a fun way to add to the spirit of Christmas in the area. Prices for moorage are reasonable, and there are rates that are available for winter moorage that are very reasonable for those colder times! There is a bit of paperwork involved to get signed up for the winter terms, but well worth doing. We have enjoyed our stay here so far and look forward to the rest of the winter and perhaps to return in years to come. The staff and harbour masters are helpful and easy to communicate with, and respond timely to emails and any questions. If you are interested in spending anytime in Victoria on your boat, I highly recommend checking this spot out.

A beautiful Marina in a beautiful harbour. Victoria Causeway Marina is the departure point for many boat tours. It looks very pretty both during the day and at night. I am uploading two photos.

Beautiful scenery. Lots to see and do. Plenty of sites and shopping. Evening is amazing when the lights come on. Lots of great food and places to toast to any occasion.

Hard to complain. Well maintained, polite staff. Docks are linear and staff will help you back in. We couldn't have gotten any closer to the Empress without being on the sidewalk. This is the best marina we've visited in the pacific northwest. Ignore their ignorant website that claims only 100 amp. service. Service on the dock is 110v, 30 amp.
