If your into bugs I would definitely come here. I visited here on my vacation and it was worth the visit. They have bugs snacks as well. Wasn't brave enough to buy and try it lol.

If you travel to Victoria as a family with kids, I believe you should visit here. It’s a very small place, basically 2 mid-size rooms, but kids would really enjoy it. The staff are SUPER nice and passionate about what they do. You cannot hold the bugs or tarantulas (at least after covid) but staff will take one of the tarantulas in their hand for you if you want to take any photos. They do have a nice little shop to buy souvenirs as well

You get to hold bugs!!! 10/10 would go again. It’s not huge, probably spend an hour or so inside. Buy tickets ahead of time. Very kid friendly!

Had a fantastic time at the Bug Zoo with my two toddlers and tween aged nieces. My 4 year old is super into bugs so he had an amazing time looking at everything, asking questions and asking to see them up close. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable, you can ask them to take bugs out to see close up and they talk about the bugs. If you have Gabriella, you’re in for a treat because she was so great and knew so so much! Some covid things. You can’t touch the bugs although the keepers can take them out for a closer look. There are two areas, and once you cross into one area, you can’t go back. Also once you go through the zoo you can’t go back to see the exhibits in the first area. This was hard for my toddlers to understand but made sense for them to watch the number of people inside. Wished we could have gone through it a second time since the kids were excited to see it all the first go around. Excellent experience and would definitely come back!

Awesome experience! Many varieties of insect and arachnid specimens to see, hold and learn about. The gentleman doing the tour was fantastic! Only sad part was that I went to late in the day, so I didn't get to hold any of the praying mantises. That just means I'll have to return! Seriously awesome place.

Spring break week so there was a bit of a lineup. We had to wait an hour to get inside. Very friendly staff, however I am not sure it is worth it. Two rooms each about 10*5m exhibiting different species of bugs charging ~$50 for two adults and two 7 year olds. No offence, however it is a bit much for not so much content.

Visited this hidden gem recently and was amazed by the quality engaged educators, service, and family fun this place offers! We were allowed to hold stick bugs, millipedes, horney devils, touch beetles and more. The content was age appropriate and entertaining. We witnessed a rare sight when a cockroach was seen giving live birth. Right next to another one that was freshly molted. The ant display was neatly organized along the walls. They had spiders and praying mantis. A good place to bring your children. It's a small (mini) zoo but they can spend time reading and learning.
