Victoire Day Spa - Calgary

I bought two facials on groupon. First experience was very good, skin was super clean and technician took her time. The second time was 1/3 of the time the first one was, and I left hardly any different than when I arrived. It was disappointing because the first one left me feeling clean and worth the money spent.. but the second one I probably wouldn’t say was worth even $10.

I love the professionalism and the staff is amazing. *Update* After having a open and honest talk with the staff they showed me that what I was considering like not being clean, they're stains from the products that they use with clients ?. But I've noticed that sometimes is not so clean or maybe I'm too picky lol that's why I only give 4 stars instead of 5

I purchased a groupon to try out a spa facial and was happy with the overall experience. The staff were friendly and the 45 minute facial was fairly relaxing. Cleansing, exfoliation, steaming, extraction, and masks were all included which was nice since some other places don't do all of that when the allotted time is less than an hour.

Great place, very clean and staff are really friendly. I had gotten a groupon for laser hair removal and was very quick to make an appointment for a consultation. Jennifer was wonderful at explaining the process of laser hair removal and explaining what she was doing. I am very happy with the results so far and definitely would recommend Victoire Day Spa. It can be difficult to find the spa as the entrance to the building is hidden behind a big white arch.

Displeased with their willingness to work with their clients. I had an incident which led to a two month hospital stay and a total of three months recovery in which I was unable to go to any appointments or even walk. My groupon for laser hair removal had expired within that time, but they have no willingness or compassion for the situation to push the rules and allow me to finish my last two appointments. I will not be recommending this place to anyone in the future, I also found they do not send reminder phone calls for appointments. Very unsatisfied with how they handle their business.

Currently in the process of receiving laser hair removal at Victoire and have had great experiences each visit! Hair has already depleted a great amount after two sessions. Process was explained in detail and any followup questions were answered happily. Each time I have gone it has been extremely fast, efficient and on time. Thank you to everyone at Victoire!

I highly recommend victoire day spa! I don't regret my experience of laser hair removal..

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars and not 1 is because the receptionist who also did my laser hair treatment was so nice and professional. My first issue was with the quality of the laser hair treatments I received. After a couple of treatments, my hair was already beginning to grow back patchy, which was a promising sign. However, after 7 treatments, patchy is the furthest it got. I still have significant hair growth everywhere they did the laser treatment which was not the results I was hoping for. My second issue has to do with what they charged me for. I took advantage of a group on deal and (full disclosure) I got a Brazilian done. I paid for it, but was informed that around my butt would cost extra. I thought it was strange in the moment but paid extra for it, only to realize after that a Brazilian typically includes that area and I shouldn't have had to pay extra for it. My final issue has to do with their handling of my package. I missed one of my appointments and, due to covid, was unable to book another one for about a month and a half. I was supposed to receive 8 treatments total but on my seventh, I was informed it was my last because my year was up. There was no understanding for the fact that covid had interfered with my ability to rebook despite being reassured when I paid that I would be sure to receive eight treatments if restrictions got in the way. I wish I could say my experience was better, but I would not recommend going here. EDIT: I attempted to reach out to the email they listed below and never got a reply and despite what is claimed in the reply below, my package was not extended at all. And it may be worth noting that arguing with a customer rather than attempting to resolve the issue is one of the fastest ways to lose business.
