★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to photograph rail-car graffiti. Although lots of times there are lumber cars blocking the view of the grain hoppers (which usually have the best graffiti. Some vintage coal hoppers come through often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We boarded the 'Skeena' train from Jasper but had to stop overnight at Prince George to continue our journey to Prince Rupert. We got to see the Prince George VIA Rail Station only the next morning because the previous night the train stopped almost a kilometer away from the station, and it was so late. It seems the trains arrive and depart later than their scheduled time. Anyway, the next morning the train to Prince Rupert was only about an hour late in departing. We had a few cups of complimentary coffee at the station, and also collected some free information leaflets about the places we were going to visit in and around Prince Rupert. There is a good washroom at the Prince George Station, but not many places where you can buy some snacks or burgers. Best to carry your own hampers on to the train if you are going economy class.
