L	Lou Brombale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had chest pains entered emergency Right away service blood tests etc. Found out had a heart attack kept me in emergency until midnight then to tub room 6th floor. I want to say it was quick top notch service from the emerge doctors and nurses and 6th floor nurses .Great service.

Doctor didnt even look at me and told me to go to my family doctor who takes a week to book an appointment with which doesn't really work when you need it for work. On a different occasion I had an MRI scheduled and when I showed up for the appointment I was told It was cancelled and waitlisted for no reason and there were no notes about it or anything. This hospital is severely understaffed and the half of the staff are unprofessional half the time

When we went in a couple weeks ago for my wife’s broken foot, they wanted to treat her for Covid, so we left and went to salmon arm, low and behold they said she had a broken foot, get her all set up and send her home with a referral. 5 weeks later we call the ortho, get he wife’s new apt. (Today, March 4th 2022 830am,) It’s in the ortho part of Vernon hospital, not knowing where it is, we ask the lady at the front who’s job it is to tell people where to go, she’s sends my wife with a broken up 2 floors and down halls, to wrong spot, turns out she sent 3 others with injuries to the wrong spot as well. You have injures and sick people coming to a hospital, the last nothing they need is to be sent to the wrong area.

Thank you to the amazing VJH staff from front check-in staff, Triage, Emergency Department, Radiology, Pharmacy and Dietary to the skilled doctors and OR staff of course including Dr. O’Brien. Giving credit where credit is due, these dedicated, talented and gifted folks made my latest experience very “enjoyable” in spite of a serious injury. Cannot thank VJH for all the care, attention, respect and kindness I received May 24 and 25/22.
K	Kalim Inouye on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To whomever Male Doctor/Nurse who was working in the ER on a patient with a sore throat and tight breathing from 18:30-21:00. At first I was to anxious to even go to the ER tonight because I didn’t want it to be a waste of their time, yes it’s just a sore throat, but my breathing felt the worst it’s ever been. You’ve made this the outmost worst experience and have given me no trust to willingly step foot into this hospital again. I’ve lived in Vernon for all my life, and have been in this hospital multiple times. You should never make a patient feel stupid for asking a question about their body or health. I’ve never felt so looked down upon for going into a hospital because of the concerns of my own health. Not impressed.

The first aid people at the resort looked after me beautifully and then sent me to the Vernon Hospital for an x-ray. I had the x=ray and fortunately nothing was broken. I just want to say a huge thank you to the ambulance staff (I enjoyed chatting with the paramedic who sat with me in the back about ice) and the wonderful staff at the Hospital for their great care and attention. Thank you.

I had surgery the next day. Dr Brown performed my surgery and he was amazing. All the nurses who took care of me post op were so kind and understanding and made sure I didn't want for anything. Truly amazing during such stressful times. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors.
