D	Double AA Ron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste is still great. They have the best sauce. Not as much toppings as you used to get. Doesn't matter which location you go to, in any city, they just don't put as many toppings on as they used to. Having said that, it's still more than most other franchises, and is still good value, and still very filling. Still my favorite pizza. In the country. Staff are friendly, and hard working.
J	Jackson Le on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad Pizza. Very thick Pizza with a lot of meat. The dry ribs was disappointing it was overcooked too dry for my taste. But the pizza flavor pretty good. Much better than other franchise Pizza Joint such as Pizza Hut Pizza 73.

They charged us more than what we normally pay for the same pizza and size but refused to pay that price. We started to eat the pizza and found out that it was twice as spicy as it should have been and now my kids won't eat it as it was suppose to be 1/2 spicy not the whole thing. So for this reason i will no longer get pizza from verns pizza.. The old owner was wayyyy better

J	Jen fer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somewhat expensive but worth the price due to how loaded their pizzas are. If you're going to choose pizza around the 20$ mark, definitely go here. The T-Rex pizza is aptly named considering how many layers of meat there are. The cheese is probably the best quality in the SE and there's a nice thick layer. The bottom crust is nice and thin but strong enough to hold the toppings. Everything about the pizza is seriously great quality.

This isn't the first time we've ordered from here and didn't get an item from an order. We were bargen hunting for dinner that had free delivery for skip. Only to get our order and be missing an item, so only 2 people had to not eat. When I called to ask for a resent with free shipping I received a no even though we ordered and received free delivery off of skip the dishes. Maybe tell skip not to offer it if your not going to resend an order without it if it's missed.

This is like your typical house pizza BUT it a 5 POUNDS OF HEAVEN!! You can only order 15/18 inch due to amount of toppings and YES THERE IS A LOT!! ( see pictures I posted). I and my husband really like their sauce it a little sweet not overly. When we place the order we knew it was going to take longer than normal for it to be delivered (40 min, just to cook.) The guy over the phone was pleasant and even asked if we could use plates forks etc BONUS!! Yes when we got our food within an hour of calling ( 15 min drive) they remember the plates etc we had said yes too. It been a few years since we have had Vern :( . But this place in Calgary never left us down! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND trying this pizza ( MOMA MIA) for anyone who is really hungry or loves house pizza. Very filling pizza and worth the cost hand down! When the delivery guy came same professional and friendly.
J	John O'Donnell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered an 18” T Rex and an order of dry ribs online at 6:54 P.M.( $63.22 ) It said it would be ready by 7:38. I called them at 8:10 to inquire as to where my order was. The guy on the phone didn’t even sound concerned. He told me that the guy just left. I heard another person in the background say that he’d be here in about 8 minutes. Needless to say he didn’t arrive until 8:32. Of course the food wasn’t even lukewarm. A lot of money for cold food. Oh and did I mention that this isn’t the first time this has happened. Two orders ago they forgot to cook it in the first place. When I called they proceeded to tell me that I didn’t even put in an order. Very disappointing. Follow up. I called Vern’s corporate office and of course I got their voicemail. #CRICKETS That’s some way to run a business. One thing I noticed in these reviews is that not many bad reviews have a reply. That speaks volumes right there.
