M	Matt Parker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Constant calls asking for personal information, do not give them any info they don’t already have. Most likely they bought your debt for 2 cents on the dollar from the original creditor and only have your name, if you provide your birthday and address it just gives them the tools they need to list it on your credit report. Also if you have a delinquent debt over 6 years do not make a payment; you will restart the debt clock and can be taken to court. Send a registered letter if they get annoying asking to cease and desist contacting you. After that get a lawyer, I got a settlement from cbv collections last year.
C	Chris Leger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Calls Daily , to non stop letters regarding a CBV Roger's Bill that passed its statue of limitations from more than 6 years ago ! This company is nothing but a real joke and a scam at that, the calls would start as early as 10:30 am to 5:00 pm I got so fed up , I had to change my phone number because of there incessant phone calls , I've had alot go on in the last couple months and I just lost a very close friend not even 3 weeks ago and now loosing another family member , this is the last of my stuff that I had to deal with . The problem with this is that Veritas could not produce a final bill and proceeded to tell me that I got a letter few years ago , I never received one , also the fact that the account number Veritas had was not legit and that the bill itself was NOT In my name , I don't know how they got my phone number and email address plus my home address , but I'm VERY annoyed with this company, ultimately sadly I said enough Is enough I payed the amount that was owed and the calls have dropped, the point of my review is that I do want Veritas to reach out and apologize for this matter that was not even mine in the first place . The company itself is aggressive and will keep calling non stop until either a settlement is offered or whatever the amount of whatever it is owed . Block the calls and don't answer them .
D	D W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I keep getting calls on a business number for a person who does not exist. I have been getting calls from various collection agencies for same person and when i explain that they have the wrong number, another bottom feeder collection agency like Veritas takes over and I have to try to explain the situation over again. This is now ongoing for at least 8 years and I had this business number for at least 12 years so these people don’t even have the common sense to Google a phone number to find out who it belongs to. My recommendation is to never ever answer these agencies, whether you owe something or not because you will be endlessly harassed regardless.
W	William Demers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This debt collector agency keeps calling asking for a person that I don't know. I said multiple times that they have the wrong number. Unfortunately I am not surprised by the inaccuracy of their work considering the glorious reviews all over the internet about this company and their savage practices. I've also filed a complaint to Consumer Protection Ontario and will be taking this further if the harassment doesn't stop. Don't reply with a pathetic "sorry you're unhappy with our service" (if we can call it that), I can't care less about your incompetence. Just learn how to use your CRM properly!
K	Katie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Veritas Alliance is a scam. They've been harassing me with phone calls for months on end about a non-existent debt. I spoke to them a few times to have my name removed from their call list, but to no avail. After my last conversation with a verbally abusive rep, I finally figured out their scam. This rep was obviously their bulldog and only gave me information about my supposed case so that he could use intimidation tactics. So, this is how their scam works.... They did a soft credit check on me and found an old credit card that I cancelled in 2011. Their claim is that I owe thousands in interest. I had of course paid this card off in full before cancelling it and my Credit Report clearly shows a $0 balance and has for the last 10 years. Their bulldog rep tried using scare tactics, yelling at me that he's putting me into collections. Then he typed away at the computer without hanging up the phone, I guess to instill fear in me. So be warned, if Veritas is harassing you without cause, DO NOT tell them any personal information, ESPECIALLY YOUR NAME. They try to weasel your personal information out of you because legally they have to prove that it is indeed you. I'm fed up with their continued harassment and finally changed my phone number.
A	Ashwaq Abdul-Ridha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first, they were harassing my phone and I thought it was a scam. I decided to answer a week ago and I actually spoke to someone not a machine. His name was Bobby. He explained to me about the debt I had and heard me out in terms of options to settle. He was very patient, very supportive, and he offered to help me settle my debt with the least payment possible. Thanks to him, I was able to settle my debt as paid in full. I was very comfortable dealing with him and trusting his choices he offered to resolve my matter. I think he is one of the best I had to deal with in terms of collecting agents. I wish him the best of luck.

Their call taker at the main number is belligerent - she refuses to take information that the person has NEVER LIVED at the address that they have on file. Account #2275837. Kindly look up the account & correct the information. Cease & desist sending mail. Addendum - talked to someone at the other number - got a reasonable response & the guys mail hopefully will stop coming. However - they need to deal with the individual refusing to correct info that screams at you at that other number posted. I do wish you luck at tracking this debtor. However the guy doesn't live here & has never has lived here. When someone tries to tell you to update the info on that person you are trying to collect on - after they have received letter after letter after letter for 5 years worth of mail for the same guy - your staff shouldn't scream about mail theft at them for accidentally opening an envelope. You graciously accept the information they are trying to give you & not abuse people. You were contacted out of courtesy - at $2 per mail out it gets costly sending these letters out...
