β β β β β This is our third mortgage financing experience working with Devon Jones at Sunlite Mortgage.
We were looking to sell our Townhouse and buy another house just before the stress test was implemented but decided to wait due to the uncertainty of the housing market. During our recess he was informative and was prompt to return my calls and queries.
When we finally decided to buy a home, the process was long as we wanted to buy but prices were too high for properties that were on the market. After almost 2 years we ended up buying a home that would need some renovation. The sellers gave us 2 days for financing, and he made sure that our financing was in order within two days.
About two weeks later we sold our house and decided that we wanted to close a month after the closing of the house we purchased and would then require bridge financing as we would need money to close the purchase and get us a renovation loan. The mortgage company he got us approved did not offer bridge financing, so he succeeded to an approval with another lender. Even though itβs usually the bank to ensure the success of the deal with bridge finance, he stepped in to make sure we would close on time.
He was there with us every step of the way, explaining in detail all the options on our mortgage commitment (what benefited us and what benefited the lender). He was truly remarkable in assuring, guiding, counselling and keeping us informed every step of the way and made the whole mortgage financing transaction so much easier than I thought.
I think that especially if you are a first-time home buyer you will need an experienced mortgage broker like Devon Jones working on your mortgage.

β β β β β Our Mortgage renewal was coming and my wife and I were looking to work with a mortgage broker to give us advice on how to reduce or mortgage payments and pay off our mortgage faster.
We had gotten our mortgage renewal notice from out bank and we were just looking to see if there was anything better out there.
After reviewing a few mortgage brokers we decided to go with Devon Jones, Mortgage Broker with Verico Sunlite Mortgage.
Devon was a good communicator and educator and he spent time explaining our options. We learned a lot about the mortgage process and he suggested we stayed with the same mortgage lender.
He was able to negotiate a lower mortgage rate than what they were offering.
I would definitely recommend him!
