β β β β β Have been going to Velvet Lounge for a couple of years and it's always been a great experience. Laura does an amazing job, and seems to know what I want done with my hair even if I don't! I always feel comfortable and taken care of, the atmosphere in there with all the other stylists is so friendly and easy-going. What a great bunch!

β β β β β Amanda at the Velvet Lounge is a hair-styling goddess! Besides being a top-notch human, she's got absolutely mad cutting and colouring skills. I've been going to her at the Velvet Lounge for over 4 years now and I get excited for my next my appointment at the end of the current appointment. I love the atmosphere at the salon and its retro chic. If you are looking for a welcoming hair salon full of talented humans, check this place out.

β β β β β Cannot recommend Laura enough as well as all the other staff members who make it such a friendly and inviting atmosphere at the velvet lounge. Laura has done my hair since I landed in Vancouver 2 years ago, always so friendly and always does what I ask. Her prices are so affordable and the service is second to none.

β β β β β I have been having my hair done by Kristy for a few years now and she has NEVER disappointed! Her colouring and cut work is flawless and offers a wonderfully reasonable price.
The Velvet Lounge itself is an adorable hole in the wall with a unique interior and comforting vibe. The other stylists are very friendly and conversations can naturally spread to everyone in the room or be one on one with your personal stylist.
Highly recommend!!!

β β β β β My husband and I have been with the stylists at the Velvet lounge for the past 10 years.
I have long dark hair with blonde highlights and Amanda always nails it with the color and the cut.
I feel so fortunate to have been recommend to Velvet Lounge. The stylist are all incredible at what they do and it is truly a special place. You can really tell that everyone loves working together and feels appreciated and valued and this translates into the best client care.
They have a wide variety of products for sale as well. Itβs truly a one stop hair shop.
I highly recommend the velvet lounge for all of your styling needs.
