K	Kimberly Hill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am giving two stars because of the poor customer service. I had a booking for hair and makeup application at 6am for my bridal shower that day. I woke up at 5am to receive a text message sent at 1:30am from the hair stylist that she had become ill and tested positive for covid. While this is very unfortunate to have tested positive, I was extremely disappointed in the management of the situation and the extremely short notice. I asked if there were any other stylists that could fit me in and was told they were fully booked. Providing 4.5 hrs notice is completely unacceptable when people rely on you for their special day. Since this person was feeling sick the day before and took initiative to get a test, I would have expected the courtesy of being informed of the situation and would have created a backup plan - or the owner/manager/other staff should have filled in her place. I received great makeup service but was extremely disappointed that I didn’t get the full glam I was expecting nor did Velve try to rectify the situation in any way. We are 3 years into covid so I expect better plan of action and feel there is know excuse to not have a proper procedure in place.

The makeup lasted all day and looked flawless. I was so pleased with how it turned out, I booked my bridal party services afterwards. Would highly recommend! Looking forward to returning for future services.

She gives you the full details on every procedure so you get the maximum results! I have never had such a wonderful experience! I 100% recommend you coming here you will not regret it!!

I'm quite picky when it comes to hair and makeup and was lucky to have Viktoriia for both services. She did such an incredible job and made the drive from downtown so worth it!! Not only did she work her magic on me and make me feel beautiful, but she was also fun to work with and made my experience enjoyable. Thanks Viktoriia, I will definitely be returning!

She really listened to what I wanted, asking if there were any ideas I had in mind. Her make up was not “cakey” at all, and the products she used were incredible! I am super happy that I chose Viktoriia as the artist and can’t wait to have her do my makeup again!

The stylist and artist really cared about my vision and executed it perfectly. The aesthetic of the salon is stunning and overall amazing vibes and quality work. Would highly, highly recommend. Only criticism I have is the online booking system - made creating an appointment for my mother and I at the same time a bit difficult, but I just called the salon and booked with someone.

The tan is even and bronzed, without that overpowering orange tint. I absolutely LOVE how the colour of the tan mimics one you would get from the sun. On top of the beautiful tan, Janessa was so sweet! I definitely recommend visiting them!!

She did an amazing job on my makeup for my engagement!! I was absolutely in love with my look and every single guest complimented my makeup thanks to Vik! She did exactly what I asked for and went above and beyond to ensure I look my best. She even did a slight touch up on my hair with no additional cost. I am definitely going back for my wedding! ❤
