★ ★ ★ ★ ★ call customers care for services .....wow i got miss personality was so rude to me (she had no clue what customers care is).other then wanting my credit card number all i was asking for was a remote to be able to operate my heather since both the manual bottom and remote stop working and she hanged up on me.my heater is 1 year old what a shame

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This heater does not work as advertised. Put it outside and the slightest breeze will turn it off. Don't waste your money. To the other guy regarding the broken feet... Absolutely you are correct. These are built way too cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchase the Veito blade at the local Home and Graden Show a little over two years. The feet on the stand broke two times...they were replaced free of charge. The third time, I moved the stand about 2 inches to sweep around, and again, one of the feet broke. Sorry, no replacemt as the 2 yr warranty expired. The bottom part of the stand was defectively made, as the new base is now fully solid. I should not have to pay for something that was defective the first time around. I will let customers know how I was treated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought the heater home show in Toronto plugged it and keep tripping breaker. I tested to see what it was drawing and found out its drawing almost 1800 watt. Thats against canadian electrical code .. How did they get away with that I don’t know . I will call the csa and file a complain . I did bit more digging and found out these type heaters only to be mounted on a wall but they are selling it on a telescopic stand..Thats a fire hazard Its against canadian electrical code I will also mention that in my complain as well.. All they gave me was yellow receipt looks too shady. Stay away at all
Cost.. These units are dangerous

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This outfit is horrible. Contacted them because the heater flamed out my wall socket, button is almost melted. Should have known something was up when the actual unit started getting hot on the ends. I believe like has been said this heater is drawing way more then 1500 watts. Also the slightest wind shuts it off, I'm guessing it's also the fact it's heating up so badly. I'm calling a friend who's a lawyer as I think there's a liability issue here.

Vancouver Home Show. I installed at my cabin a few month later and one only lasted a few hours before the bulb blew. Even though it's super annoying Louise at the service department dealt with it very promptly and the heater was back within a few weeks fixed! They even re sent the hardware. A for service......except maybe they could work on answering the phone, email was the only way of contact.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought the heater at a home show. Seemed like a good product.
They have a major flaw in that once it’s on, you can’t change the heat level because the panel is way too hot to touch.
After a couple of years of use, the button to turn it off/on collapsed and they want me to ship it from Toronto to Calgary for a quote! No thanks.
Way too much money for this kind of service. Very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a heater from veito when they were at the Royal Winter fair. Sales guy gave a great pitch about how much I would love the heater. I don't. It wasn't as warm as they claimed. Now 2 winters later, it doesn't even heat anymore at all, it's dead... Better to buy the $80 version from Costco
