No one picks up the phone here, or responds to voicemail messages or emails. The only way I was able to book an appointment or talk to someone is when I drove there and caught the attention of the front desk person. I also had to take the initiative to come in once more because pre and post procedure instructions were not provided. Staffperson with long brown hair has poor manners and typically answers coming from her is 'I don't know' and gives off a bad vibe in general. For some, the process is unfamiliar so be kind and understanding (advice for the staff). Maybe your short staffed and if that's the case it really shows - asking questions felt like I was intruding on your previous filing time. Save the headache and book somewhere else.

Had a colonoscopy done here - staff is friendly, surgeon was competent. Worth the extra $60. Very patient while they explain to dumb guys like me how the procedure works. Didn't feel a thing. Had a beer later that day ^.^ That said, it was about an hour late, which according to the staff is unusual for the place. (thus 4/5 stars)

I am extremely disappointed with the way the clinic is working. My doctor had sent a referral to the clinic and they refuse to do a colonoscopy because of the wording on the referral. We have lost 2 months as they didn't inform us on their decision.

I've been having stomach problems and I chose this clinic for my endoscopy because they had decent reviews. Besides having to call the clinic myself to book the appointment, the pre-procedure process was fine. There is a $60 fee before your procedure as explained on their website. I was given to Dr Sethi for the procedure and that's where my problems began. The anaesthesia was uncomfortable and I woke up with an antacid prescription (after telling him I didn't have acid reflux) and a sheet of paper with some initial results but no one to answer any questions about it. I waited 2 weeks after the procedure with no contact so I called the number they gave me for Dr Sethi. A woman picked up the phone who sounds like she really hates her job and told me the earliest follow-up appointment was in 2 and a half MONTHS. A week later she called me back to book the follow-up before realizing halfway through her sentence that it had already been booked. About a month later I received a call from my family doctor reminding me about the follow-up. They also happened to mention that it would be in Etobicoke, not at the VEC. Why the lady didn't tell me this is anyone's guess. I called Dr Sethi's office and was met with an angry tone saying she had been trying to reach me (I would later find out she was calling my dad, whose number I NEVER gave to these people) and that my appointment had now been pushed back 2 more weeks! I also managed to get an address. After the call, I put the address into Google Maps only for it to point to the middle of a field. The address they gave me for their office doesn't exist! The day before the follow-up, she called me again and I re-confirmed the location. She immediately hung up the phone before I could say anything. So on the appointment day, I followed Google Maps to the given location just to be sure, and there were no buildings there. In short, stay away from this place. You'll be lucky if you even get your results.

I had a procedure today at Vaughan Endoscopy Clinic and just as you are doing right now, I also looked up reviews to get insight on the facility, doctors and staff at the clinic. I generally don't post reviews, but if this convinces someone to have a colonoscopy (which could save your life!), or otherwise puts someone's mind at ease about the clinic, then it's worth it for me to put this out in public. My experience was great from start to finish: the staff scheduling my appointment and taking my calls was very professional and pointed me to the right resources online on their website to find the information I needed to learn about the clinics policies and practices. The nurse who took me in, set up the IV and talked about the procedure was super nice, professional, personable and did her best to put me at ease. Same thing goes with the anaesthetiologist. Very personable, explained what he would be doing and it went forward just as he described: basically I was sedated.......and woke up after it was over without any issues what so ever. Dr. Springer, who performed the procedure on me was very polite, straight forward and professional as well. This went as well and as smooth as I could have hoped for, and really, it was (at least for me) not uncomfortable at all. I can't speak to any of the negative comments left here by other people, but in my experience, everything went very well, and if anyone reading this is anxious about having their first procedure at VEC, my experience was great (and this was also my first procedure with VEC). Based on my experience, you will be in great hands at VEC.

Very positive experience. Friendly professional medical staff (doctors and nurses), clean facilities. Especially the nurse (Elaina?) who did the IV is so sweet, friendly and professional. No issues with my procedure. Juice and cookies after your procedure which is nice when you haven't eaten in 24 hours. They even give you a printout of your results with pictures. It helps when you want to review at home. That I thought was a big plus. The only negative comment I have is that I had to wait an hour and 20 minutes to start as they were running behind. Tell the receptionist to smile more though and be a bit friendlier.

I had my colonoscopy and gastroscopy yesterday morning. What a clean and happy facility. The prep was horrid but the procedure was a breeze. Dr. Springer was amazing and very informative. I had wonderful and attentive nursing care. I was asleep and kept very comfortable during the procedure. I can't say enough about the care I received, it was outstanding! I Highly suggest you do your procedures at this clinic. You will not regret your decision.

Waited outside clinic for a 9am appointment - UNTIL after 9 for clinic to open - 2 other people waiting in crammed hallway as clinic not open. Desk help arrived after 9am to open clinic - WAS VERY RUDE - did not speak to myself at all as apparently she only worked for the clinic and had nothing to do with the scan I was waiting for. Will be looking for her manager and owner of clinic to voice a complaint - shouldn’t be rude when you are the one in error !
