About Vantage Community Services
As a student in the Child & youth Care Program, you develop the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for youth and their families. You learn how to encourage them to be more resourceful and to be able to confidently use their voice. After graduating from the Child and Youth Care program in Thunder Bay, Ontario, in 2011, she was fully aware that this was something that she was extremely passionate about. After working in Ontario briefly, she moved to Alberta to pursue a full-time position with Vantage Community Services. From there, she felt like she was given the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. she started out working as a floor staff, and then made her way to team leader of the Equinox Connection Program. Through this, she has been able to showcase her strengths to a program that she feels has made a significant impact on her in who she is professionally. She is also very passionate about the arts and has been an avid Ukrainian dancer since the young age of 6. This keeps her grounded and focused when life becomes a little hectic.
