I had just started my search and by the end of the day I had signed my lease. The units are Beautifully maintained as well as the building in itself. I highly recommend renting from Vanier Heights

I have lived at Vanier A building for almost 2 years the building is clean and well maintained. I had paid my pet deposit when I moved in and was paying the $25 a month fee without having a pet yet, when Tina heard me saying that we hadn’t gotten our dog yet she actually gave me my extra parking spots for free to make up for the almost year that I was paying it. That was a huge savings for me for 6 months. I have had a few issues inside my apartment and when Tina was told maintenance was there within 24 hours if not sooner depending on my issue. All in all this building and staff have been amazing. Thank you for everything. Great place to live!

I have lived in Building "A" at the Vanier Heights location for nearly four years. The only reason I will unfortunately be leaving is because of a new job in a different province. My time at Vanier Heights has really been a fantastic experience. My two bedroom unit is fitted with all major appliances and is very spacious. I have a storage room at the end of my hallway. Very handy to hide that fake Christmas tree and Rubbermaid bins. Reaction time for maintenance items is extremely fast. You can call the Broadstreet Properties line at any hour to ask questions or to report a maintenance item requiring attention. The property manager is right at the front entrance during typical work week hours. I prefer the face to face interaction provided by Broadstreet which seems to be very hard to find these days. The property is kept very tidy. Every car stall has an electrical outlet for your block heater. I find the rent extremely fair price wise. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for an apartment to rent. Close to all amenities, pet friendly, and just an overall great experience. Chris

I met either Brittny the property manager this week.She was extremely friendly and polite and patient! The process is simple. I have never rented with a company but Iike this one so far!5 stars!

I have moved in... Hurray. I would like everyone to know that Britney the property manager of both buildings for 2450 a and B 22nd Street is amazing I couldn't ask for a better property manager very helpful knowledgeable respectful of all people whether you're young or old Britney could not have done enough for my mom to help her get into the building as a senior I really feel that this girl really needs a raise and some praise that she is doing a really good job sometimes it just takes another person to let that person know how much their respected. Plus and that they are doing a great job thank you again Britney for making this transition for my mom as easy as you did. Bri and Kathleen Knoblauch.......

Feb 4th 2022 As a new comer to AB from BC I searched and searched for a place to live with my 2 cats and I had put myself out there on rental forums and Brittny had reached out to me. We chatted a bit she sent me all the required forms that I need to get the rental ball rolling and when I finally did move she set everything up to view the apartment. I ended up viewing the apartment with Alexis Brittny's partner and she too was pleasant to meet. I would say as a new comer to AB you really should reach out to Brittny; she is your one call. Mike F

Having moved back to Alberta in April, I wanted to get an apartment before I moved to Red Deer. Dealing with Brittny and Broadstreet has been a pleasure. Brittny reached out to me about vacancies at Vanier Heights. She was very patient and efficient with the application process and moving in process, always happily and willing to answer any questions I had regarding the building and area. It was definitely the easiest time I had moving into an apartment. The building and grounds are kept clean and very well maintained. The neighbors are very friendly, and so are the pets! The building is a short walking distance from the conveniences that one would need. Overall I am happy that I moved into Broadstreet.

I have lived in this building since it opened in 2014. In the beginning it was well maintained and it still is pretty good, but it isn't for long-term residents. More and more, new residents seem to have previously lived in a barn. Quite frequently both the outer lobby door and the inner security door are left wide open, even when it's 30⁰ below zero outdoors. This also defeats building security because anyone can just walk in. Then there's the elevator. On average it's broken for half a day every other week. Once it was broken for 2 straight weeks when it needed a part from Germany. Finally, painting. We have been here since 2014 and asked for them to repaint, since we're not permitted to paint ourselves or hire a contractor. We offered to move all breakables into the bedrooms so they could paint the kitchen, living room and hallway while we were away on vacation. They refused. Seems the only way our apartment is getting painted is when we leave. We're considering doing just that.
