★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We moved our son over to the VUFC a few seasons ago after a couple of years in another league in town. It was never about putting our son on to a winning team or anything like that. Generally, the opposite. He loves soccer and we wanted him to be able to play somewhere that would foster his enjoyment of the game and provide a positive coaching and team environment.
We found all those things in VUFC. Our son is more in love with the game than ever, he has encountered great coaching, is developing as a player, and has made some good friends.
If parents in Vancouver are going to have to drive their kids to soccer games at 8 a.m. on a cold, rainy Vancouver January Saturday morning, may as well take them to a place they love!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My one or both of my kids have played at VUFC or its predecessor club (Dunbar SC) since 2005. Both have loved playing. My son has since graduated out. I have also coached for VUFC for the last 13 years and it has been a truly rewarding experience. The development of the club over that time has been phenomenal. It is very well organized and supports all of its players, volunteers and parents equally. Highly recommended to young parents, both for your kids and for you as an enriching volunteer experience.

He now also attends the Van U academy on Monday and Friday evenings and loves it!!! A great club, with great facilities, friendly people and players of all levels welcome.
