β β β β β HMS Pinafore was so difficult to hear that the plot was almost unintelligible. The screen above the stage was not in sync with the dialogue and the singing was not on screen at all. Nice stage, nice costumes, but we missed the storyline. Could the theme songs (ie, I Am An English Man) have been sung with more gusto?
