★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a big fan of Vancouver Candle Co. The neighbourhood collection comes in very sweet packaging and they all smell great. I am personally partial to the Mount Pleasant scent. These make a wonderful housewarming gift - I bought one for a friend who recently moved to the city to welcome her to her new neighbourhood.

I bought the Saskatchewan one last year for my mother in law who is from Saskatchewan and she was so happy and touched. The scent reminded her of home.

Oh, and how the smell travels throughout your home, it’s delightful. They are my absolute favourite and make a wonderful gift! Not to mention, they have great customer service. Friendly, respectful and always there to answer questions you may have. Made local, you won’t be disappointed!

The smell of The North with amber is unique and my absolute favourite. I’ve smelled the other candles and it’s amazing how they can perfectly capture the described fragrance. 100% recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoy the Vancouver themed candles, but all of the candles they sell are great. The big ones last a long time, especially when managed properly. Ordered as a gift as well and came in a nice tasteful tissue paper gift wrap. Would recommend to anyone, but especially those with a love of Vancouver neighbourhoods!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vancouver candles are simply the best! You can burn one or a few to create your own blended scent and are not overpowering with heavy scents like other candles. They are lightly scented soy candles blended with essential oils to reflect the mountains, water and neighbourhoods we live in, everything Canada represents. Needless to say, every candle in the collection creates a very calming and luxury scent to any room. These beautiful package candles make for the perfect gift for everyone! I LOVE them all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received 'Gastown' candle when i moved to San Francisco my girlfriend told me it was to remind me of home. Well it had long past melted and being in Vancouver i decided i needed another one.
I was so happy i stopped in instead of ordering online. I had a lovely chat with Kathy and smelled another couple candles i wondered about online and came home with a couple.
