We were heading back to Edmonton from a vacation on Vancouver island when we blew bearings in our rear passenger RV tire. Once we had pulled over & came to a stop we lost the tire all together & discovered we required a new axle & all bearings repacked. Thankfully no damage was done to the RV & we were able to pull over without incident. Unable to get a tow with all lowboy flatbeds in the region in use, my husband, myself & our young Golden Retriever were stranded on the roadside with our RV on Highway 17, a major truck route, not far off the white line for 16 hours. We were truly at our wits end when, like a knight in shining armour, Joey from Vancouver Axle & Frame saw us and pulled over to offer assistance. Thankfully we were only 5km away from their shop & with his assistance we limped our rv there. Given the current overwhelmed state of the RV industry we expected parts, labour availability etc, would likely take weeks to get our RV back on the road and were under extreme distress having jobs to return to. These rockstars of VAL had us fixed better than new & back on the road within 24 hours. We will be forever grateful for their efficiency, incredible experience & genuine compassion. We recommend anyone who is looking for any frame or axel work done on an RV unit to go to Vancouver Axle & Frame. They are truly the very best. Thanks so much Joey, Steve, Kevin & team. I don't know where to begin. So my mechanic called got a quote for 1500 then I called to make the appointment and told them the parts they needed and now it's 2000 that's fine I thought. After I told them what needed to be done they called me and said I think we don't need the extra part. I should have said ya you do but I didn't there they specialist right Wrong! They call me back a week later and say sorry you have to do it the way you told us lol and not to mention everytime you call they say they call you back but they never do over two weeks long I'm the only one calling them back its horrible customer service and the job took way too long cause there not organized and then at the end of it all my bill is 2500 come on guys I would not recommend then to anyone if you have a truck or jeep go elsewhere trust me.

Thanks for the great job you did correcting the alignment on my class C motorhome! The job was completed on time as promised for a very reasonable price. There were no surprises - I was kept up to date on the working being done and the final bill was as expected. I won't hesitate to return for any future maintenance that I require. Good job! John

Wanted to make a large custom order for a big project. I asked basic questions and person on the phone had no answers. A few suggestions or answers would have been so easy for the person on the phone to provide, none were given. They sort of provided what seemed like half an answer to my question just to get me off the phone - call was literally less than 60 seconds and it was a struggle to communicate. I tired to order online however the online form requires a fax number before you can complete it.

I was quoted 2 hours o install 2 airbags,1air bag was installed in under an hour but Kevin said the other bracket would need modification,as a fabricator I said I would modify it myself and save $ Kevin said sure,he came to me and said the bracket didn’t need modification after all, charged me an extra 1.5 hours, the 2 hour quote ended up 3.5 hours almost doubling without modifications SCAMMERS STAY CLEAR,their word means nothing, find another shop, I didn’t agree to the added costs , as a fabricator you and I agreed I could take the bracket and conduct the modification myself saving me the cost of your shop doing it,BUT no mods were needed or done and I was still charged the extra cost !!! Liar,as far as he lines, now you admit there was lines attached but when I was there you denied the existence of the lines, if the lines were not useable you should have informed me ,I would have had new lines added, now the cost will be doubled as the bags need to be pulled to have new lines attached, you know this and thought I would come back to you to finish the job but that will never happen. LIARS AND SCAMMERS

After booking well in advance I arrived at 7:00 am on a Monday and met with the tech assigned to complete my repairs. They were to begin that morning and the work was to take approximately 2 days. I called for an update Tuesday afternoon and was told they hadn't started but would begin right away. Called back Thursday for another update and received the identical response - they would begin soon. The following Monday I was informed that the tech in charge of my job was on holidays (since the previous Friday) and once again stated that they would be looking at my rig to determine what work was needed and begin right away. I flew over from the Island and picked up my untouched RV Tuesday morning. The inability of Vancouver Axle and Frame to be upfront or even honest about the status of my work was frustrating and costly. I cannot recommend this service.

Vancouver Axle worked on my 2016 Tiffin motorhome in the Fall of 2021. Some time later David called me to see if I was happy with the work done. I was, but mentioned that a vibration at a certain speed was still present. David suggested that a wheel balance might fix the problem. He arranged to bring me back in and the front wheels were balanced while I waited, additionally, they pulled the wheels and inspected my brakes. They even fed me doughnuts while I waited! This additional work was done without any charge. I have nothing but good things to say about David, Kevin and Ken Miller. A trustworthy company that performs in a professional manner.

Absolutely by far the worst experience with a repair shop in my history of 20+ years of fleet management in the trucking industry, dealing with 100's of shops throughout North America for 1000's of commercial vehicle repairs. It took them 12 days to complete 16.5 hours of work and the problem is still not corrected. Despite booking the job 1 week in advance, we were continually misled on timelines and work being completed as promised in order for VanAxle to retain the job. Dishonest timelines and commitments that they had never intended on meeting, no communication unless we phoned them or showed up at the door questioning. Refused to reply to our email concerns in writing and would only call on the phone to argue or gaslight, despite the vehicle GPS reports and eye witness accounts showing the truck was moved offsite to a parking lot nearby for multiple days ... ignored and left untouched. Dishonest and unethical business practices to hold the vehicle mid repair and work on their timeline without regard or concern for their customers' lost revenue and the drivers lost wages. Despite the fluffy replies you may see from them on the previous bad reviews from many others, they truly do not care that they have created hardship for the customer and make no attempt to rectify the situation. Shameful
