Has big rocks where one can sit and enjoy.
At times the tides get high and it seems hard to swim.
Is really nice to walk, bike or rollerblade along the trail

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beach. Lake Ontario ain't the best lake to go swimming in no matter where you're at. That being said, Van Wagner's beach is probably one of the cleanest beach spots in the GTHA. Otherwise go further east towards ajax or further south towards Niagra.
Or just any other great lake.
Or just drive north to ANY other lake for that matter..
But for the Toronto-Hamilon area.
This the best!
