★ ★ ★ ★ ★ these guys are a pleasure to deal with. Flexible, timely, and local. I will route as much of my region specific freight through them as i can. In a unlikely incident our dog - who was at the office, bolted for the first time ever...near a very busy road. The driver who was picking up the delivery was right there with me trying to get her, he was there with me 100%. together we got her a block or so up. this sort of sums up my experience with Vankam...professional, personable, Western Canadian courier. they've been responsive to our needs, and havent missed a delivery time or a beat. 10/10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The driver used to deliver 900lbs worth of merchandise I ordered dumped 2 skids out front of my business and informed my staff that "due to COVID we can't dolly it inside." Besides leaving me and my staff with hauling in the boxes with no notice, we also had to store the palettes. On a follow up visit to return a few boxes the same driver mocked me to my staff saying "she's not happy with me for dumping the last delivery" and was somehow now able to enter my business with no problem. Completely unprofessional, glib, disrespectful, and a ridiculous abuse of COVID policy to get around delivering proper service. Had I not felt so openly disrespected in my own business I would have avoided leaving such a negative review.

shipment was sitting in their yard for over a week .
It seems no one cares or has any pride in their work anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Driver parked across entire commercial lot, then honks and flips me off when I park in a legal spot. Incredibly unprofessional and just blatantly rude. I'll be taking to the business owners about using a different freight company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience with Van-Kam Freightways has consistently been excellent.
The Victoria Depot's team is fantastic. They recently assisted us with a short-notice TDG pickup & delivery involving large & awkward cargo (marine emergency equipment). The Operations team put the job together with less than 1-day notice (Sally made this easy for us). The Driver was on time for the pickup the following morning & was very helpful getting the equipment off the jetty & into the truck in a safe & timely manner. The cargo was promptly delivered to its destination, which ultimately enabled our team to conduct urgently required repairs on behalf of our client, within a tight timeline.
