Visited once. The positive thing its huge. The negative thing is you need to think if the prices are fair. I saw the ikeas chairs not in the best condition for 3.5, but week before the same, but brand new on sale in Ikea for 6. For bags and books I think it's fair prices. I bought a books for 1.59 and for 3 bucks. But for 3-4 you can buy a new in doloramma. Unfortunately in Doloramma is not much choice. The clothes are debatable. I saw some staff for 20 bucks, like women sweater. But in Winners you can find the same prices for brand new cloths and of course in Walmart even cheaper. But I guess it's hunting game, good deals and bad deals. Anyway, I liked it. If you like to read, so there is a huge choice of books. Some other Manitoba places you can check on my ig mr_aleksei

OVER PRICED. So sad I saw a little kid who really wanted a used toy puppy plush from the bags but it was $19.99… and his mom told him β€œsorry but we can’t afford that, because it’s too expensive”. THANKS ALOT FOR MAKING LITTLE KIDS CRY VALUE VILLAGE. PLEASE DO NOT donate here!!! You’re only lining the pockets of the CEOs it LITERALLY has nothing to do with diabetes Canada as they like to milk so hard. Staff at this store act like they are making commission they way they price things. Donate to Goodwill down the street instead.

Pricing was as if they didn't know the stuff was used! Also no rhyme or reason on how items were priced. I did like how the store was organized though, easy to find things. Would go here again.

Ever since COVID it seems, all the stuff is way overpriced that you're better off just going to another store to buy it brand new. I thought this store was supposed to help people aka be a thrift store. Not anymore.

****DONATE ELSEWHERE**** Stop being greedy. I will never donate or support anything to do with Value Village until whoever is causing this pricing system to be this way us fired. This is also a reason why I did not call back for an interview along with the horrible employee reviews. It really is too bad you all had to go this way because spending money at any Value Village at one point felt good and was fun. Now I shall donate straight to outreach missions and other entities.

Always enjoy walking around and seeing all the treasures, but when you look at the price tags you just shake your head. I remember when these places were good to buy inexpensive clothes and other items. Now the people pricing these items think these are on eBay.

What can I say: I'm a regular. I have a small book styling business so I scour all the Thrift stores in the city weekly. Value Village on Pembina has some of the best variety in the city. Staff are friendly. It's clean. I genuinely love the atmosphere (yes, there are some thrift stores were the vibe is almost hostile.)

Overpriced items are here are a understatement. Just wow. The Value Village Brand & Company has become mainstreamed to the point where I hardly go anymore. Staff are helpful. Cashiers at the Pembina location are very very friendly. Donating items are hassle free and easy. They would of received higher stars if it wasn’t for their extremely overpriced items.
