Items are extremely overpriced some cost more than they would new. Definitely not helping the people living in poverty in the community. Definitely will not donate to any value village

This store has lots of variety in clothing and other items. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. I do find that many items are overpriced for a thrift store. They especially like to sell vintage and antique items sometimes for what they would sell in an antique shop (even though they offer no education of the item, nor do they clean them). If they are not priced as high as an antique shop, they are at least half the cost of what you would pay (even if they are damaged) which I find disheartening because if the items sit too long, they throw them in the dumpster (a friend used to be a manager at the Belleville store). They won't even consider dealing with antique dealers to avoid throwing out historical items that can never be replaced. The same goes for some other items that they sell as well. What I like most about the store is that if you bring a donation in, you can receive a 20% off coupon that you can spend right away. I will only shop at Value Village if I have a 20% off coupon because otherwise it's not worth it to me. There are plenty of other thrift stores in Belleville with better selling practices that I'd rather go to if I'm unable to save money at Value Village.

Probably the largest Value Village with the most items of been to. Lots of items to choose from. Clean and organized. My major issue, as with all Value Village Stores is, you are a thrift store not an antique store. Why do you resell donated items at antique store prices. People who shop at thrift stores are people from low income households or people looking for vintage items. You are not doing the public any favors.

Cheaper to fly to Mexico to buy shot glasses than to buy second hand ones from this place .

I won't be heading back to Value Village any time soon. They do not have fitting rooms and their 14 day return policy pretty much boils down to a store credit. No thanks. Hit up Talize instead. Well organized, cheerful employees and they have fitting rooms which eliminates needless purchases and a return trip.

I love to thrift shop. I’m not usually one to post a bad review. The staff are mostly good and the service is fine. However when I was in the other day, I was totally floored. Prices are astronomical! I picked up a spatula priced at $4.99. This is crazy. These items are donated. I can purchase one new for less than that. Disappointing to say the least. Items are priced way way above value. Sad.
