★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was very refreshing to have a Meet & Greet session for kids in that park during this pandamic time! It's a beautiful, serene place! Kids have lot of fun, there was play area, spray park, picnic tables. Kids used the coloured chalks to write on the side walk.They have really enjoyed for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too many mosquitos now due to the untreated pond; go elsewhere. They normally do insecticide by now but so far they've only herbacide parts of the park.
I come here daily either to bike or walk my dog. We do several laps; but went at 10pm last night to bike and the air was thick with mosquitoes in my eyes in my mouth... Normally do at least 5 laps with my buddy but I left in less than 1.
Mosquitos at the canal are not too bad; go to the dog park down there; or bike along

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So they are in the process of redoing and installing the volley ball court? Beach? ? I am not a sport person , dont know what volley ball is played on , but you sporters got new sand! Also there is a splash park and new looking play ground. If you hike there are great trails and view overlooking the down town.

There are volleyball courts, a baseball diamond, a gated toddler park with a spray center, pathways that run in all directions with great views of the west including downtown. A pond with beautiful small waterfalls and areas close by with benches. A larger playground for the older kids with disc swings(that fit many kiddos), balance ring, swing bars, and a climbing centre. One of my kids favourite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful clean parc with lots of space and options for different activities. A water parc, a great playground, open field for playing soccer, a pond, and multiple pathways. Lots of parking as well and just across the street from a bike/ walking path that follows the bow. Dogs on leashes welcome as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an okay splash park. It's great for small children like 5 and under in my opinion...the splash park isn't that big but for small children it's great and works well!!! There is also a playground right next to it on both sides and this makes for a great outing for the family. It does get a bit crowded between 2pm and 4pm and because it isn't a very big splash park it gets a little overwhelming. But my 2 and a half year old son doesn't seem to mind at all he just loves running and playing with everyone. LOL there is a lifeguard on duty there the past two times I visited so I don't know if they are there all times or specific times. There are bathrooms and changing rooms to which is nice and very clean!!!
