On top of this they go to a school every day that has a welcoming warm atmosphere. A place they feel safe and that they belong. Thank you Valley Christian Family.
N	Nichole Awram on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love this school! We moved to Mission 4 years ago from a big Private school in Surrey. Even though it does not offer everything that a large school can this has been a great change for my daughter. Being in the same community as the school(we commuted from North Delta to Surrey before) has been a great advantage socially for her. The class sizes are smaller which means she gets more one on one with the teacher. When we first moved she was in the DL program(home school option) which was fantastic for us until we finally sold our house and moved to Mission. With the DL program this also ensures that the teachers are well prepared for the week and can easily send homework home when she is sick. We feel that the teachers only want the best for her and everyone in the class and help her use her strengths and help her with the things she needs improving on. We really feel like a family and are a part of a community at VCS. My daughter has been very happy with moving to this school and the community that she feels a part of. We encourage anyone moving into the area of Mission to check the school out, you will not be disappointed sending your child here.
L	Lori B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we were moving to Mission, we chose a home within walking distance of VCS because we had such a good feeling about the school. Our son started Kindergarten this year, and the school, teachers and staff have exceeded our hopes. When hearing about some of my friend's children's chaotic start to Kindergarten, I couldn't help but compare it to the welcoming and uncomplicated start my son had, beginning with a visit at home from his incredible teacher(!) so he was already familiar with her on the first day, and able to get settled in that much more quickly. The easy start to the year (no shifting around classrooms & teachers for a couple weeks like at some scools we had heard about, just jumping right in to education), meant that his teacher was able to start getting to know her students immediately, and get more out/put more in to the school year. The teachers, principal and staff are all incredibly welcoming, encouraging and truly want the best for each family. We have felt at home there from the very first minute. We ended up deciding to have our son do a mixture of days at school and homeschool, and having that flexibility, especially in the first year of school, has been really great for our family. I really can't recommend this school enough!!

The teachers are caring, smart, invested, and the quality of learning is outstanding. The school really encourages parent involvement and you feel like you are apart of the family, with a real impact on how your child receives education. Excellent communication, as a parent you are always in the loop, meaningful & informative weekly newsletters, and everyone working towards the same goal. Very happy at VCS!!

I see my son learning to be responsible, to care about others, to be disciplined and most importantly to love God and love others. The Christian values they teach at VCS have a great impact in the development of children, I can totally see that in my son. And, if you live in Mission, you don't have to send your kids to Abbotsford!

Kids say hi in the halls and hold doors for others, staff are always smiling and my kids have been having only good to say about this wonderful rare school! They celebrate grandparents and volunteers and make great effort to make people feel welcome while putting great effort into teaching our future generation not only quality academics but essential values to live by. We have moved a lot due to hubbys work and training so we have been in and out of many schools and can say VCS is our top pick! Wish all kids could get this experience at school. Well done to Mr. D and staff for making this such a great quality school.
