We were able to rent scaffolding for 2 months at the same cost it would of cost to rent from home depot for 2 weeks. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable,

Completely unprofessional with no regard for customer service. Credit Manager by the name of Linda swears and YELLS at potential customers trying to setup an account and pay for their rentals. At the last minute, they could have potentially cost our company thousands of dollars in overages from us having sent labourers to a jobsite with nothing to do by not willing to provide us with a scaffold rental. This company needs to fire Linda ASAP.

Urban does rent to the public without an account and proof of insurance but you are required to have a current drivers licence, payment and deposit by Visa or MasterCard. Because there is limits on credit cards Urban will rent out 3 sections with all the safety gear (like guard rails and access). Urban has the capability to open a personal account if a customer requires more equipment.

It is incredible how this business has been able to sustain itself with a member like Linda still lingering and floating about in this establishment. If you'll take note, this woman is mentioned many times on this review platform and certainly not in a favourable light - not exactly Employee of the Week. She is mentioned in such frequency that one has to wonder how the #FireLinda movement hasn't gathered more steam on social media. This low-end farting gas-hag only muscles her way up to the front desk when summoned ( with wincing hesitation ). In this case, a $50 overage of their $150. maximum amount allowance - before one has to provide proof of extra insurance coverage for theft/loss/damage of their equipment. They offer no such extra coverage for such, and will not even assist or entertain suggestions from their customers to move the process further ahead - to a resolve. For this, you have to fill out a two-page form equivalent to the same when requesting a Passport or Birth Certificate it seems - a take-home version is almost eminent. All for a simple rental,? insured by my credit card company but would not suffice for Linda, and when one inquires further - as I did - as to why?, you're gifted with a neck-jarring explosive yammering that highlights how uncompromising the people and their custom service policies really are. Linda's boney fingers rapping down on-top of an Equifax Credit Checking bureau application that is also now part of this crazy side-show; spouses name and phone number, SIN's, insurance company name, banking information, etc., information and queries not even imagined or relevant to this simple transaction. Her self aggrandized attitude is heightened when asked why one needs to fill out a credit application on such a small order - when my credit card could easily fulfil the total amount of the equipment request. She becomes instantly irritated and tells me that they don't 'do it' this way and only seek information from my credit check - which takes three weeks - due in part to their out-dated way of conducting business; through fax machines - I'm assuming dial-up. I'm not even sure where one could purchase fax thermal rolls anymore, but this is besides the point. Such nonsense. Don't be fooled by the adoration of many 'Consumer Choice Awards' stickers plastered on their front door - these are mere 'Payola stickers' that cloak and mask unprofessional behaviour of this woman. There is no gala award banquet ceremony with long evening gowns, and men in tuxes walking to the podium announcing the 'Best in Scaffold Rental Award’ goes too...It's a scheme that involves placing a $1500 cheque in the mail and two weeks later you get a giant red sticker. Trickery hinging on fraud. Deceptive, but necessary for a business like this - who enables this woman's behaviour and has done so for far too long. If this business is to thrive, then my suggestion would be to either fire this woman, or the next time she is needed at the front counter, ensure she finishes off her raw-hide in the back first or wait two weeks after she slithers-out and out from her darkened hovel in a post hibernation state. My only satisfaction from this visit was that when I left, I walked out with my wallet in my pocket. There is another scaffolding rental place two minutes away on the same road heading West - thank you Google. No-one should have to put up with such bad behaviour and repugnant customer service where a client is treated like a criminal and suspect from the time they enter the building. No-one. I vote with my wallet ( and so should everyone ) and Supreme Scaffolding was more than happy to help me out without any fuss or drama - as a matter of fact, they said "Linda's the best thing that's ever happened to our business. We get so much business this way."

I was a scaffolding newbie and these folks were really helpful in helping me figure out what I needed for a church reno project. They even loaded my trailer for me. Highly recommended.

The one day training class gets great reviews from all those who take the class. There is classroom learning and then hands on training. Students range from Safety officers to trades persons to OHS officers. Something for everyone to learn. Check out the courses.

Hours on Google and website are not accurate. Called. No answer. . Loaded scaffolding and drove to office to find a piece of paper stuck to the fence saying they were closed today (friday) and will not be open to Monday. Waste of time. Rates are ok but you need an account to rent.

I had a great experience with Urban Scaffolding. I rented for a month and price was very competitive. They had the oddball size I needed to set up in a skinny narrow area. Girls at the desk were super helpful - even when I needed to come back to swap this for that, and do that again. No hassle returning things. All went as smoothly as it was meant to.
