★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far I’ve been to a consult and just recently had my first treatment for laser hair removal so I will update review later with results.
My first impressions of the place is that it’s super clean and the staff are lovely!! I opted for the membership (for life) and while there are certainly other places in van with lower prices, I feel like I’m getting top notch service. Nicola is an amazing technician and makes me feel super comfortable which is of utmost importance when getting up close and personal. I’m excited to see the results of her high quality work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I have visited a spa for a microdermabrasion facial treatment. After some initial appointment delays due to concerns about possible health complications, I had the microdermabrasion performed. Surprised how very little of the ‘abrasion’ I felt as the procedure was done smoothly while I had been relaxed the whole time. My skin felt very rejuvenated and was surprised how photogenic my face looked afterwards. If my occupation was in broadcasting i.e. cameras always on me, I would get microdermabrasions at Urban very regularly.
As this was performed during the pandemic (Omicron wave, highest case numbers), Urban’s facility followed health/safety protocols to protect clients (and staff) from any possibility of COVID-19 transmission. I felt safe at their office.
Thank you Ashtin, for the microdermabrasion experience and the informative chat. Secondly, thanks to Janiece for suggesting the microdermabrasion and encouraging me to seek input from my doctor regarding any possible complications to my skin health prior to the treatment.

I have gone there for 11 months in a row for laser hair removal service, and there was no changes to my hair growth!
The last day of my appointment, after several times of me asking them why I dont see any changes, they admitted that they dont know why the laser machine degree was noted so low in their report/note!
I wasted $3000 and so many hours on them!
With absolutely no result!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over the past few years I've booked a number of different sessions with the gals at UBL and I have always had the best experience. They are honest, upfront, detailed, thorough and extremely knowledgable about all of their services. From the moment you walk into the reception / lounge area, you feel welcome, comfortable and at ease.
I had a reaction after one of my laser sessions last Fall and they were quick to respond; quick to suggest; and quick to provide me with some soothing lotions and creams. They checked in with me for weeks and made me feel at ease and not discouraged about ever booking again. And I am happy to say that I have rebooked and attended more sessions and will continue to do so!
I have the upmost confidence in the UBL staff and management and would highly recommend them to everyone!!! xox

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted a clinic that also specializes in men's laser hair removal, and Urban Body definitely fit the bill. I've been going here for two years for laser hair removal, and the results have been phenomenal!
Ashtin and Nicola are both amazing, and I couldn't have asked for better technicians. They're lovely people. I've spent probably 30+ hours with them and they make the sessions just fly by.
Absolutely recommended for anyone looking to get rid of some unwanted body hair.
