As a couple planning a destination wedding, Stefan was such a great help planning our reception. He thought of things we did not even think of and improved the evening. The reception was beyond our expectations and dreams. His knowledge of music made both of our personalities come through. He is truly incredible at brining everyone together and engaging guests. All of our guests raved that it was one of the best weddings they came to and we owe that to Stefan and his talent. Stefan basically guided us minute-by-minute through how the reception would go. He is extremely detail-oriented yet also very flexible. Stefan also looks for ways to exceed your expectations. For example, the day of the wedding I found out that one of my favorite songs had a Quebecois version. I asked him if he could play that version instead of the English version. He then surprised me by fading the English version into the French version and it was amazing. If you want as perfect of a reception you can get, go with Stefan. All the best Max and Keith

Stefan inspired the most confidence and after watching a few of his wedding videos and speaking with a past client we were sold. Throughout the wedding planning process Stefan was extremely helpful, offering suggestions on music, timelines, and activities. On the day of the wedding, Stefan was extremely organized and basically acted as a second day-of coordinator making sure the evening ran smoothly and on schedule. Stefan also acted as our MC and he did an excellent job maintaining the parties' flow. He also suggested and ran a number of games and activities during the reception, all of which were extremely well received by our guests. We credit much of the success of our wedding and reception to Stefan's planning, organization and skills. He kept us dancing late into the night and helped ensure that everyone had a great time. We would strongly recommend Stefan and Uptown Xpress to anyone needing a DJ. He is a true professional and a pleasure to work with!

As a florist and decorator, Stefan makes sure to involve me and values my opinion when setting up his equipment i.e. uplighting, he makes sure the colours of his lights compliments my work. I must say being in the industry for 12+ years, rarely do DJ's that, I think I can only count 3! If Stefan has so much respect for other vendors, how much more would he take care of his clients! I'd recommend Stefan to my clients without hesitation. You can be sure you'll be in very good hands throughout your planning process!

Stefan was organized and detail oriented in the planning and preparation process, and his unique approach to create a personalized celebration was executed early enough that we never felt stressed. The entire night was beautifully choreographed with intros, speeches between meal courses, our love story was delivered with heart and the interaction with our guests was second one to none. It’s not easy throwing a party during these Covid times but he delivered. He worked closely with the venue manager to time everything. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. Stefan is a wonderfully authentic person with empathy and attention to detail. He got to know us well enough to become our story teller. We highly recommend Uptown Xpress for any significant party.
