★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You know how you move and now you're far away from your favourite pizza place and it's Friday night and WHAT are you supposed to DO it's too HOT to drive so you check out a place nearby but you aren't hoping for much? Well, if it's Uptown Pizza you are very, very happy after picking up your pizza because 1) it was delicious. Bubbly cheese, great flavour, crispy crust and 2) it's close by so you can eat there all the time now. So commit to a new exercise program because you are going to be eating at the new place and the old place going forward. I strongly recommend the Punjabi pizza. So good. Can't wait to try more items on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick place to grab a bit to eat, nothing out of ordinary but great for what you pay. Have stopped here on a number of occasion when wanting food on a late night out on our way out of downtown. They service a variety of foods, such as indian, Pakistani, pizza, wraps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious Indian food. I was in Calgary for a week and I went 5 times. Best price for food in the downtown area. The Chana Masala was one of my favourites. The fresh naan is really good. Butter chicken, Palak also good.
I had their Hawian pizza - get it fresh, super cheesey doughy but so good.
I will go back for sure.

Came in around midnight got the butter chicken with a garlic Naan.
Good price and absolutely tasty. Ended up ordering extra garlic Naan.
Customer service was great. Worth stopping in.
I'll be back to try several other options.
(Update)**
Came back a few times since and everything is so good. Get the chicken biryani and garlic Naans.
Must not forget about the Green sauce.
Everything here is tops!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was 2am. This was the only place open still serving food. So, our expectation were low. But it turned out to be the second best shawarma we've ever had. Second only to Shawarma Station in Ottawa! The wrap they use here are thin and layered. They remind me a bit of roti, but less greasy. We'll definitely return here next time we are in Calgary!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meh. Don't listen to any bad reviews on here. This place is awesome. I had the gentleman at the counter fire me up Chicken Karahi Plate for lunch today and it was literally the best dish I've ever had. Super nice fella, too. Highly recommended. This is not 5 star dining, but it is 5 star Indian dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not going lie. If you look at my history I give all 5 star reviews. As someone who works in the industry I find that nore than most folks give negative reviews over positive. So I made it a goal that what I review is 5 stars.
I just ordered skip the dishes. I will say that for pizza this is one of the best places to order from. Sauces with each pizza and the cheesy pizza is nuts good. I am honestly so impressed with uptown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food overall was great. The house special pizza which was delicious, the hummus was okay, wouldn't order it again it lacks flavour and is thin in consistency. The cheesy bread was pretty standard, it was tasty but the marinara that it came with was the best marinara I've ever had. It is absolutely perfect. Veggie pakoras were so yummy but very greasy. Samosas were good. Overall I'm very pleased with the food! Takeout night from here was a success :)
