Z	Zara V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was poor. The lady burnt my skin with boiling tap water so as a reaction moved my foot away quickly and accidentally stepped on her glove which I apologized. She didn't even apologize for burning me and pretended it didn't happen. My friend next to me was getting also getting a pedicure and she was going so quick she made her bleed. Also, didn't apologize. Safe to say we will not be returning.

I got them done by Sue again and was beyond satisfied. She did an exceptional job and my nails turned out better than what I could’ve ever expected. I would like to apologize to the whole team for judging them from one bad experience and thank them for having me come back and giving them a second chance, because I fell in love with their work again. I don’t think anyone should be judged based on one bad experience. Original - I went here once before and everything was great.The last nail tech I got, Sue listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. But this time I went and Vy did my nails. The first picture is what I showed her and the second picture is what she did... do they look at all similar? Umm NO! I know they ask if you’re happy with it at almost every step but she didn’t. And kept going and when I had a chance to actually examine what she has done it was too late and my appointment was finished. I am not a confrontational person and feel anxious when telling someone I don’t like their work. That’s why I appreciate them asking me before proceeding so I won’t have to live with something I don’t like for 2-3 weeks.

It was my first pedi/medi and the lady was rude and got mad when I accidentally messed up one of my nails while drying it. I apologized for the inconvenience multiple times and she didn’t even acknowledge me and just redid the one nail and left without saying anything. However, my friend had a nice lady that was attentive and also took the extra steps to make up for her coworker. She took me to the drying table and asked us if we wanted anything to drink etc. Thus the two stars. Wouldn’t recommend it.

My friends and I go to Uptown for powdered dip nails every month, and they do NOT disappoint. They’re so accommodating and patient when I inevitably overcomplicate the process by selecting several colours. The management and the nail techs are all incredibly kind and funny. V went above and beyond on these Disney nails for me yesterday. My friends and I have tried other nail salons that offer dipping powder, and no one quite compares to Uptown. With a slightly higher price point than the other studios we have gone to, it is absolutely worth the money to go to this wonderful boutique.

We both had pedicures and they were perfect. My partner had the mens deluxe and I had the deluxe with shellac, long massage and great attention to detail. Highly recommend! ?

I can’t remember when I had a mani-pedi last so this was an experience. They are busy but also very attentive and I was out on time. An exceptional experience. ??????

I loved it after I got it done and wanted to give an honest review of the service provided. I was told that it would last 3 weeks and two weeks 3 days later this is how my nails look like. There’s a bit of chipping as expected especially on my right hand as I am right handed. I wish my cuticles were cared for as well but the focus was on the nails. Overall I loved it and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who didn’t want add nails and looking for a more natural look. (Purple nails) Update: January 14th 2022 Went in for a new set of powder dip yesterday. Staff was very welcoming and ready to get me beautiful nails. I had the same nail technician, Jessica, she works fast and is a genius! My cuticles were cared for this time, some chipping is expected with use and I now know I can go in for a fix for free later. I asked for tips this time for a bit of symmetry and length and I absolutely love it! I don’t think I’ll do anything else asides from powder dip. I think it’s important to communicate clearly what you want. Definitely recommend and 5 stars ✨ (Maroon nails)
