Dr. Kim is the best, she is kind, caring and compassionate. You'd think all doctors are, but it's not always the case. Her staff is amazing as well, special mention to Madison. I've recommended the clinic to my friends and family and I hope Dr. Kim could be my family doctor for a long time.

Dr. Tong is an excellent doctor. I went to the centre regarding a medical issue. After a thorough examination, Dr. Tong took the time to explain what the issue was. He also answered all my questions with great detail and dispelled any concerns that I had. The staff are also excellent, they spoke to me professionally and courteously. They also guided me through they next steps that I needed to do in regards to setting up appointments with medical testing. I will definitely be returning here should I have another medical issue.

I highly recommend this clinic for those in the area! I needed to see a doctor urgently since I live in the area and my family doctor is relatively far, so I decided to try this place out. Check in was quick and I was put in a room right away. Dr. Tong was kind and efficient but also thorough. Usually walk-in clinics have long wait times, but here I was done in around 20 minutes.

I have seen Dr Martin Tong a few times and didn't have any problem with him, but the receptionist is a different story. She is rude, ignorant, condescending, and abrupt. I have witnessed her be like that with an elderly male patient one time also, and she's like it with me all the time. I went there yesterday, she was on the phone on a personal call for 15 minutes while I stood there waiting to be checked in. When she eventually got off the phone she asked what I wanted to see the doctor about. As in the past, I told her that I will discuss my medical issues "with the doctor only". I do not feel I need to discuss my medical issues with a receptionist, I'm entitled to patient confidentiality, and I value my privacy and will not discuss my medical issues with a receptionist, ever. Then she said, "oh yeah I made a note in your file before that you refused that time too...and I can refuse to let you see a doctor if I want one hour before closing". I got there 4:45, they close at 6:00. I said, "OK, and you close at 6:00". She said, "yeah and now it's 5". She was on a big power trip and trying to threaten me into submission. She is very unprofessional, and likely too clueless to know how damaging her tone and demeanor will be to that clinic. So I said, "well, am I going to be able to see a doctor or not?" She said "I can refuse to let you see a doctor if you create a hostile place". Again, big power trip, trying to threaten me into submission. I said "whose creating the hostile environment, you or me? You've been hostile and rude and abrupt and intrusive every time I've ever come in here, and you're like that because I refuse to discuss my medical issues with you, you are not entitled to know anything about my medical issues, I'm here to consult with a doctor not a receptionist." I took my health card back and said I'll go somewhere else. So I did. Now I will be proceeding with a formal complaint to the regulatory authorities. I understand that a doctor is in business to make money, as we all are, and he can refuse to treat any patient he wants, if he has good reason for refusing to treat a patient whose in need of urgent medical care. His oath says "do no harm", he did harm to me yesterday. Refusing to treat me because I won't discuss my medical issues with a receptionist is likely not a good enough reason. But I will let the regulatory authorities make that decision. Luckily I found another great clinic yesterday where I was able to see a doctor urgently without having to go to emerg at a hospital. My husband's family doctor of almost 30 yrs has recently retired and he too was looking for a new family doctor so I recommended this place to him....thankfully he hadn't gone there yet. Now I can steer him clear. It's unfortunate that a lot of potentially good doctors get a bad reputation based on the behavior of their front desk staff.

Dr. Kim is the most caring and dedicated doctor I have ever met. Plus, she is highly knowledgeable and competent. The front desk person is also always polite and welcoming. I never leave reviews but felt compelled to do so for her and this clinic's staff because I feel they go above and beyond for their patients. Keep up the good work!

This walk-in clinic is absolutely the best. The front staff is super polite, friendly, and efficient. Wait time is short, and Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable, caring, and patient. I've had the same condition countless times that requires further examination at a lab, and every time the physician said they'd contact me about the results but didn't. This is the first time I've received a call about the lab results and I am very grateful for that! Thank you to the whole team at University Health Centre :)

Lovely staff and even lovelier doctor I was blessed with the opportunity to see Dr. Tong on short notice for a flu shot. He comforted me throughout the way short of holding my hands, no tears! Their handling of the covid protocol was up to snuff and excellent experience overall

It is walk in clinic. But you need to call them first to know if they are open or not! Thanks
