★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is great, the units are also very private for been between a store and a pub.
The bigger unit needs new carpet for sure, otherwise is nice and comfortable. This is the reason why I lowered my rating.
The bathtub are also good.
I enjoyed the private balcony very much.
Walking distance to all your needs including trails.
The beach is not good for swimming, but nice to walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an awesome little spot to stop before heading back into Vancouver. The Marina is well kept, with amazing facilities ($1 for 10 minutes). The town has the normal offerings...restaurants, real estate, refreshments and a nice little organic store/cafe/bakery all rolled together. Great little trails to walk nearby. Top marks all around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really love this place. We stayed in the Garden Suite, upstairs neighbours were a bit noisy during the day, but quiet at night so that was only one small complaint. So many beautiful details in this well maintained vintage suite. Close to everything you need on Bowen Island - ideal for travellers without a car. Also very reasonably priced!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint & well run. The Marina Manager was fantastic! She was efficient, 'on-the-ball' and very welcoming. Everything we needed for a fabulous Covid-safe getaway! So hard to leave we extended our stay - twice ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent! You can’t beat the location, right on the marina overlooking the lawn, cove, and marina’s many docked masts. And within walk of the ferry, restaurants, coffee, groceries, and shopping. Staff was incredibly kind and quickly handled all our questions or needs. Cottages are old (historic) but well furnished and warm. We stayed in the Summer House and enjoyed its many big windows, wood fireplace, claw foot bathtub, propane stove and outdoor bbq, wooden floors, stained glass windows, french doors, reading nooks, and more! Perfect for our family of six. Price was very reasonable for its amenities and location. Walls are a bit thin, as we could hear each other throughout the house, and hear the guests in the below suite. Bathrooms and floors could also use a deep clean, and the carpet is a bit musky. Instructions for wifi and using the TV/DVD need updating, too ;). But it was great for our relaxing weekend getaway and we’ll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely adorable and cozy! I came for a short escape-the-city stay and the float house definitely felt like an escape.
Clean, rustic, but with modern necessities such as lots of electrical outlets and snappy wifi. I brought my work with me which requires reliable wifi and I had no problems at all. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, all appliances worked great and the staff were friendly.
Bear in mind the float house is right in Snug Cove Marina very close to where the ferry comes in, so you'll need earplugs to block out the associated noise that starts in the early hours.
Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was recommended to stay by a local. Unbeknownst to us they put us in cottage 18, well that was disgusting and atrocious!! Old ,dilapidated and 200$ for a night. Shocking and when I complained ,they were surprised and told me she Tanya ,would get back to me.
Well it’s been over 10 days and I had to follow up …anyway. Don’t bother to stay here. !!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked the Float House for 2 nights at a decent price directly by phone. House was homey, clean, and it was fun staying there riding the waves. Only complaint was that the tv was quite outdated and a bit difficult to work with. Otherwise, it was great having a full sized kitchen and all rrlevant utensils and appliances. There's even an outdoor grill and picnic table attached as well! We would've totally used it had the weather been nicer.
