★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The home of the UBC Thunderbirds baseball team is also a state-of-the-art baseball training facility that can be booked for functions and parties by the public. I recently rented the batting cages and it was a blast! The facility is really great and the batting cages are available with the optional HitTrax, which uses a bunch of cameras to gauge your swing and detail each at-bat on a nearby screen. The best feature is probably the "Home Run Derby", where you can pick your stadium and test your long ball skills. Renting a cage is about $100 for one hour (with HitTrax).
