★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst experiences in my dealings with accountants. Lack of care and attention, poor communications, lack of follow up with the IRS on a simple tax matter. She is quick to bill, slow to service and support. We gave her a simple file to handle almost 4 years ago, still unresolved. On our last communication, she gives us the IRS number and says.....you call them...... This after us paying her several thousands of dollars. Terrible service, stay away!

I contacted Alanna regarding some questions about being a US citizen living in Canada but working for a US company. She answered all of my questions and tipped me off to a number of details that I did not consider (managing retirement via RRSP rather than TFSA, etc). She was quick and to the point, keeping our meeting short (and costs down). Her rates were on par with others I contacted for a similar service (and almost half that of one Calgary-based cross-border tax service company).
