I just want to share the wonderful experience we had today. We ordered the hitch for our Volvo XC90 from uhaul.com and decided to install it ourselves. This morning after we removed rear bumper and bumper beam from the vehicle, we found that the bracket holes on the hitch did not match the studs on the back of the vehicle! Then we called Uhaul Trailer Hitch Super Center of Aldershot for help. Michael answered the call, and when he knew that we are in trouble, he drove all the way to our home to help! He inspected the hitch and identified that it is the issue of the hitch. He searched in Uhaul system trying to find a replacement for us but could not find any stock. So Michael asked the technician at his store to help us. We drove to Uhaul Trailer Hitch Super Center of Aldershot with the hitch in the trunk. The technicians there helped us enlarged the socket holes on the hitch right away, they even installed the hitch on the car for us! Thank you very much to Michael and technicians at Uhaul Trailer Hitch Super Center of Aldershot! We hope to visit your store again in the future!

After they messed up my initial appointment time, I dropped off my car for a hitch install and was told it would be done in 1.5 hours. After returning 2 hours later, they had not even started and asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but they are incredibly disorganized - prepare to be frustrated.

I canceled my hitch & install order for almost a $500 refund and they didn’t do that. It had been 6 weeks and they never got the part or canceled my order when I called to do so weeks earlier. I showed up and they didn’t have it twice. This wasted time and gas due to having no courtesy calls on both appointments during a stressful month of moving. I had to call twice after my in-person let downs and was on hold for 15 min each call. AWFUL experience & customer service. Finally just got an email confirmation about my refund but everything was hassle & too little too late. Go to any other U-Haul or company.

Booked an appointment to get my trailer hitch installed only to find out that the parts were not ready and had to reschedule on a later week. Drove 25 mins as the parts were only available at this store and was given no phone calls in advance or notifications that it was not ready. Finally, my parts came in after 4 days of waiting and went to my designated appointment time and waited 1.5 hours until they started installing my hitch. This place is very disorganize with their schedule.

Amazing customer service from Mike spending a good amount of time with me to help me fit my bike rack to my newly installed hitch. He didn’t have to try the way he did but he did it anyway and it was greatly appreciated!

When inside this location to purchase bubble wrap. Staff not wearing any masks nor was there any sanitizer for customer use. Since there was no sanitizer available, I wanted to wash my hands with soap and water. To my surprise, I found the bathroom completely filthy.

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a rental company. I booked a cargo van online back in March 2022 for use on May 1st, 2022. I called a few weeks later to confirm the booking. I was told over the phone that everything was in order and my booking was confirmed. A week before May 1st, I went there in person to purchase some boxes. I also asked the woman at the desk if my truck reservation was okay. I also asked if I could get a larger truck since there was a lot to move. I was assured that, yes, I could get a larger truck. Come April 30th, one day before, I was told that there were no trucks available at all. I said that was totally unacceptable. Finally, they found a truck for me , but it was 35 km away which meant I would put unnecessary mileage on the truck. I also was given a smaller truck that did not fit all the furniture. I complained to the Ontario manager and was told I would get a $50 credit. I have been trying to get my credit and more for 2 days now. The customer service of UHaul is an absolute nightmare. They do not answer their phones and you are kept on hold forever. I would strongly encourage anyone looking to rent a truck to look elsewhere like Enterprise or any other truck rental agency. They know absolutely nothing about customer service.
