★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked my uhaul here cause I was moving from thickwood to timberlea and they sent me to the airport location (they charge per km). They gave my uhaul away before I got to the next location, and it's been 2 months and I have yet to get my $100 deposit back. This is a review for uhaul in general not just this location... if you have ANY other option DON'T rent a uhaul. Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced on multiple occasions through several different people. 5 thumbs way down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a cab company who know nothing about renting anything. I rented two trailers and a truck, lights didn't work on either trailer and hitch on one didn't work and I had to fix them as no one there knew how. The truck was a POS who's best days were 15 years ago. Unfortunately you have no other choices in McMurray.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even one star is too much for these folks. I usually go there if I need a Uhaul truck and each time they have messed up. They overcharge and if you ask for a refund the additional $ then they start finding ways not to pay. Once you return the truck and leave an actual review, they start arguing with you. Not sure if Uhaul can fix these shady folks working there. Stay away from this business.

I booked a truck almost a week in advance and was guaranteed a truck. Show up to pick it up Saturday and they have nothing for me and no solution. Terrible customer service. We had everything ready to go for our move and then had to do it all by my pickup because uhaul overbooks.
Thanks for nothing, you guys suck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, it's a new place run by a taxi company. My first experience not an ideal one the helping guy make buy extra connecting pin which I was not needed. I guess more experience will make them better.!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ u haul is the worst business in canada, unprofessional..almost illegal!!.. they give you trucks with not fuel...its so dengerous...trucks have fuel quarter of a quarter.. just enough fuel to get to the fuel station you fill up the amount you think is enough for your moving work.. if you use less than you filled up.. you will not get credit...they get the profit.. the dafest and clearest way is to start with a full gas..and then what ever amount we used, we can fill it up.. but they dont want it...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is hard to put into words how utterly let down and disappointed I am, but for neutrality sake I will retell just the facts.
1. I had a long since confirmed online booking for Dec 26 (15’ truck)
2. Dec 26 I get a call from the associate doing the handoff saying the customer who was supposed to drop off the truck, dropped off the keys at a UHaul branch that was closed and as such cannot honour my booking today, it will have to be tomorrow
3. I ask my employers at the new job I’ve started 20 calendar days ago for a full day off
4. I get a call from the aforementioned associate letting me know that the owner will not open the branch where they key was dropped, until 4:00PM
5. I call the customer service line and they “upgrade” my truck from 15’ to 26’ so I can continue my moving process. They also throw in an extra day for free. They had no pickup trucks or cargo vans available
6. At the Taiganova branch, the 26’ did not have winter tires (all weather? Or some sort) and this became evident when getting stuck in the driveway. And the heat did not work
7. I then asked to issue a refund
8. I swiftly booked a reliable bus shuttle service at a business that can actually deliver the service they imply
9. I left all the furniture I needed to move today in fort Mac still, and took a meagre suit case and a single box
10. Open Google maps to do my due diligence to caution other potential customers. They have < 3.0 stars for a reason.
