Reserved a truck, when show up on time, they said no truck available!! If you are not flexible with your moving plan, go to other location! We have to rush to find another rental.

3 stars only because I had to drive to a different location to pick up my uhaul, and park my car somewhere else. The guy here though who helped me was really good.

Horrible experience at this location. Called at 5 pm the day of the rental to make a reservation for a 15' truck and a dolley. Upon arrival, there are no signs telling you where the entrance to the Uhaul is. Turns out it is inside the food market. I gave the lady my name and she had no idea that I had a reservation. Asked if she had a 15' truck available and she said that sometimes people don't return it on time. So no big deal, I most importantly needed a ramp, more than the size of the truck. Problem was, she didn't know what a ramp was. End up getting a truck after waiting for her to figure out what she has available. Doesn't go over the contract with me and since I'm in a rush I end up taking the truck she offered me. Turns out it has a ramp, and I ended up struggling way more than I needed to, to accomplish this job. I'm sorry, but in order to run a business, YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR BUSINESS. Uhaul, this is a horrible way to expand your business. Train your retailers so they know what they're doing.

I usually do not do review but I think people need to be aware that this location is not recommendable. What an experience I had at this location. I booked the rental from another location in 5 min and was going to pick up at this location. Well guess what internet is so slow it takes 30 min to try and finally decide to do the booking by phone. Let say that it can happen to anyone. What is coming next does not happen usually. So I finally get the truck and heads up to the warehouse, put my goods inside and start driving to my location in Red Deer. I left Edmonton at 12:30 pm. As I am driving on the highway at more that 110 km/h, I have a double tire explosions on the front and back of the passenger side. How unfortunate I say to myself. Well that's nothing, it takes 3 hours for the tech to arrive at the site and do the repair. So I decide to be brave and keep on going, it is now 5:30 pm. After a 20 min drive on the highway 2, I have another tire explosion this time on the front passenger side again. That was too much for me. Now, I believe all these tire explosions are all due to poor maintenance. My guess is that the truck has probably been sitting there for the entire winter and all the inner part of the tires were bumped, but what do I know, I am not a mechanic. So I call u haul road side assistance once again who sends another tech with an estimated ETA of 2h. On the meantime I ask a friend to rent another truck from Red Deer and come and get me at the crossway to Wetaskiwin (yes this is how far I went). The friend gets there we transfer everything in the other truck and leave the location at 9 pm without the tech showing off. I arrive in Red Deer around 10 pm and then gets a phone call for the tech who lets me know that they have decided to send someone to impound the truck instead. Well thats not my problem anymore. Now I want my money back. I do not recommend this location. How do I give a 0 star.

There is no signage to let you know the very eclectic store you are standing in is a Uhaul outlet. The are disorganized and not very professional. The van I picked up was very dirty and had very little fuel. So, I had to immediately find a gas station or risk stranding myself. If I had wanted to waste time debating any of this, it would be pointless, as there were no other vehicles to choose from there. Finally, in this time of Covid-19, seeing employees not wearing masks and allowing customers of the store to not wear masks, is just irresponsible.

We rented a U-Haul from here. A few hiccups but was happy with unit and it was mechanical sound and drove it from Edmonton to Kelowna without any issues. Staff was friendly and service was mostly smooth. Good place to deal with.??

The U-haul app would not accept the photos I took to check in online. I had to sign out the truck manually with an agent. Put me behind by 45 minutes. I finally figured out at check out to use a browser instead of the U-haul app.

I had an absolutely terrific U haul pickup experience from the Habesha African Market location. I received a confirmation phone call the day before my pickup confirming the time and location. Once I arrived the next day the staff did a tremendous job of completing the paperwork and getting my U haul ready. It made my moving experience that much better.
