We've rented numerous trucks from this location over the years. This rental went great as usual. Truck was clean & in good working condition. Onsite staff service & price were great. Truck Pick up & return was very easy & convient. Highly recommend

i have been renting a storage unit for almost a year, almost every single time i cannot drive my car into the units because they have trucks placed everywhere and there is no room for me to drive in. Poor organization. lineups out the door to just be able to take an item from my unit. lane way blocked at both ends. for 200$ a month i’m sure thinking of switching to a different storage company. renters beware

Oh absolutely terrible experience. I have never been so robbed of my time and peace. The staff was extremely disrespectful of my time. If you can’t find a different location and choose to experience a nightmare, make sure to take a picture of the 7/8 fuel tank that they “provided”. I made the mistake of not taking a picture and the representative made sure I had to top the rental up with 15.1 litres exactly. On my return from the gas station he made sure to waste more of time by wasting the time of the other customers in order to wait my turn before he made his way back to my rental to check the timing of my return. I promise you find a different location unless you want your peace disturbed.

For years, I'm always told "sorry, we're short staff today". There are four counters but never more than two open...for the main Ottawa location! It's not acceptable to check in online and still have to wait 70 minutes in line on a Saturday morning to get a truck. Everyone in line is on their phone calling their property managers to delay their elevators and moves. Then, they don't even do the walk around anymore; we have to upload pictures. The problem is that a few of us were frustrated by a busy upload site that would stop working after half the pictures. So one UHaul guy said just take pictures and tell them I saw it. Wow, reassuring! Then another guy comes over to help and suggests he's going to put stickers on the damages around the truck cuz he can't get the app to work either! So after 1 hour and 40 minutes, I finally drive away!!! That's insane. People were SO frustrated and vocal in line. Time to recruit and pay to retain, U-Haul!!

The people working the lot were kind and helpful, but the experience inside the store took 4x longer than it should have. Truck itself was fine. Long line with only 2/5 cashes open, and other employees milling about the store browsing the web on their phones. Would recommend checking in via the website and not purchasing any moving supplies from this location, that way you can avoid the line indoors.

Very disappointed with the organization and communication from this location. The man who collects keys and moves trucks around outside is one of the unfriendliest and unhelpful people I have ever encountered. He snatches your keys, doesn't tell you that you don't need to wait in line if you've paid with credited card, and yells at customers if they do pretty much anything. And apparently this man is the manager. There is no parking on the lot so if people try to pull in he straight up yells at them to get out because the lot is literally full of scattered trucks. Awful attitude, poor people skills. I had to park my truck in the turning lane of the road for 5 minutes before I could even pull into the lot. When I got, I could hear him sarcastically asking other customers "why would you even try to pull in here, I obviously have no room for you." If you're concerned about social distancing and masks, forget this place. It takes so long to process you that the building fills up and people have little choice but to stand on top of each other. I understand that it's the first weekend of the month and it's extremely busy. I have no problem waiting in line because I made the decision to reserve my truck this weekend, but moving is stressful as it is and this location is not managed by empathetic people. If you have another option besides this location, take it.

Waited 50 minutes in line... for a pick up of a trailer that we had an appointment to pick up. There was no way to do this without the lineup... and then they were going to tell us we lose an our on our rental with no compensation for the fact that we were on time. Then the service staff ordered in his lunch at 11:15 in front of everyone waiting in line... he was friendly but come on.... beyond him, poor guy who was probably working through his lunch to help us...he deserves a 5 star because he was so nice to everyone even though everyone was mad... these managers need to figure out a better way to schedule people and process them for pickups.

Very friendly staff and helpful. Store could be a big better organized on the other side for customers to walk through. I would not rent a truck or cargo van anywhere else. Thank you so much!!
